Oliver's Steakhouse

Hubs and I went for a NYE dinner here..I can see why it’s rated so highly! They had several Halal steak and lamb options (USA, Australia and Japan) we were given a little pre-appetizer of feta cheese, olives I believe it was a basil pesto dip with some warm bread to start, we had the burrata salad, surf and turf with Tenderloin upgrade, and bc there was a minor mix up with staff, they brought us a complimentary dessert. We were sharing our meal and they split it up when serving, which I thought was such a nice and considerate touch! Presentation of the food is on point, and the restaurant has a very elegant yet homely feel. Love that they gave me a little stool for my purse!! The entire dining experience was lovely with a live piano player the wait staff are so friendly and kind… just the right amount of checking in to see if you need anything throughout your meal. You can really see how everyone works as a team here like a well orchestrated performance. We’re already planning to revisit soon, highly recommended!! 5⭐️’s!

If you are looking for quality steaks, this is the place. They have options from Canada, US and Japan. Service is top notch. Ambience is superb. Good drinks and wines. Desserts to dine for. No lotta pics sorry, but everything was delicious. 🤤🤤🤤🤤

I had the honour of visiting this establishment five years ago, where I experienced an absolutely splendid time. Upon my recent return, I was delighted to find that the food quality grew even better. The ambiance remains as classy as ever. This venue is the quintessential spot for a leisurely unwind after a bustling day!

Super nice atmosphere. Food was great. Definitely pricey but the flavours were there. Service was great. Steven was very helpful and had great energy. Definitely coming back to try something else.

Food was great. Was very impressed about the salt tray they brought out when the steak was on the table. Also can't forget to mention absolutely stunning interior and service! You will be served for what you pay. Honestly portions were very sad but that's what you get for fine dining I guess.

I had a wonderful dining experience at Oliver's Restaurant in Oakville, Ontario. The atmosphere was warm and inviting, with a charming decor that created a cozy ambiance. But the real standout was the impeccable service provided by our waitress, Steven. From the moment we were seated, Steven was attentive, knowledgeable, and genuinely friendly. She made excellent recommendations, anticipated our needs, and ensured our meal was a true delight. The food was also exceptional. I started with the house salad, which was fresh and flavorful. For my main course, I had the pan-seared salmon, which was cooked to perfection - tender and flaky on the inside, with a delightful sear on the outside. The presentation of the dish was beautiful as well. Overall, Oliver's Restaurant provides a dining experience that is truly worth writing home about. With its delicious cuisine, lovely atmosphere, and outstanding service from staff like Steven, I would highly recommend it to anyone looking for a fantastic meal in the Oakville area. A very honest review from someone who has dined at many “high end” steakhouses. The Good: The atmosphere is great; beautiful interior, classy, and quiet. Appetizers were amazing, we had the kale and apple salad, beef tartare, and truffle Mac & cheese. Everything tasted fantastic. We saw some tables order dessert and they looked fabulous, too bad we were too full to try. Our server was nice, nothing over the top good, but was good enough. The mediocre: My steak cost over $100 and although it was very well cooked, and tasted good, I don’t think it was worth the money, especially comparing to other high end steakhouses. Our lamb chops were good, but not the best we’ve tried. The bread at the beginning was fine too, but again, we’ve had better elsewhere and nobody brought butter. The price point is very high, expect to spend between $400-$500 between 2 people, even the steak sauce I order cost another $6 lol They packed our Mac and cheese but forgot to bring it out at the end, not a huge deal but I expected more from such a high end restaurant Overall, it was a really good experience but not sure if the price point was justified.

Came here for dinner last night, and really loved how good everything was! Steak was one of the best I have ever had, with plenty of amazing side dish choices. Loved the steak salts it came with! Service was top notch, definitely felt catered to. Worth the dinner for those special occasions and moments, enjoy!
