OLD.K CHICKEN BURGERS (Downtown)

This place was really good and had a good level of spice. Came here after writing a midterm and got box combo 1 and it was way better than any of the burger places I’ve had in Mississauga. The food is not expensive either. Definitely worth going to if you’re nearby.

During the recent back-to-school season, I was so busy that I had to rely on takeout to keep me alive. I stumbled upon Old K's Fried Chicken on an external group and was surprised to see that they had such a great deal during the back-to-school season. I decided to give it a try. Package A: The Spicy Fried Chicken Leg Sandwich is huge and satisfying. The chicken is fried until crispy and flavorful, and the breading is crispy and fragrant. The meat is tender and smooth, and every bite brings a delightful spicy surprise! It comes with a crispy and tender McChicken, which has a rich flavor and a variety of textures. Plus, I love the Butter Corn Cup, which has a rich aroma of butter and perfectly balanced with the corn kernels. The refreshing Sprite completes the set, making me feel extremely satisfied. And it only costs $7.99, which is cheap and delicious! The Molten Cheese Pan Sandwich: The thick layer of cheese on top is enough to make anyone hungry. The cheese melts in your mouth, making it a delightful experience for cheese lovers. The chicken is also fried until crispy on the outside and tender on the inside, perfectly blending with the cheese for an amazing texture. The milkiness is rich and satisfying with every bite. Spicy Mexican Chicken Roll: It really tastes like KFC in China! The spiciness is just right, and the chicken is generous in portion. The vegetables are also fresh. Every bite is a familiar taste, bringing back so many childhood memories! The crispy exterior has a slight chewiness, complementing the multi-layered texture. It's like going back to the KFC store from my childhood with every bite! Spicy Fried Chicken Wings: The crispy exterior and juicy interior are just perfect! The spiciness is just right, and it doesn't overpower the chicken flavor. I couldn't stop eating them, and it was so satisfying to eat one after another! I love this chicken burger! I got the walk-in special $5.99 and it was made fresh so had to wait about 10 min. But it was worth it because the meat was so juicy and crispy and full of flavour! Very big pieces of chicken too. Sauce and bun are excellent too. Service is always extra friendly at College St. location which I always appreciate. But air conditioning was on way too high and it was freezing inside. But I'll be back! One of the best chicken burgers to Toronto!

i can't stop going... i love how the walk in special beats popeyes on price and flavour. ask to get sauce added to the burger, like the smoky sesame!

Don't be fooled by the almost perfect rating. The reviews are almost all to get a free drink. The food is good but far from the best. I'm only visiting the city and unfortunately would rather have eaten elsewhere had I known. Edit: this did not agree with my stomach overnight.

Taking over the Indian place came Old.K. Little change in term of renovation. Been walking past a few days and finally came in for the Tuesday special: spicy karaage burger with house sauce. Chicken is crispy, tender and juicy. Bun was a little sad after coming out from the wrapper but otherwise OK. House sauce tastes like simple mayo and also not spicy at all. Bathroom is not available for customers and no sanatizer so I couldn't wash/clean my hands before diving in. Otherwise folks are friendly. A review gives you a free drink.

I've heard so much about the old k chicken burger in North York and finally we have a downtown store. Staff was super nice and friendly. Food here was AMAZING. I highly recommend the original Orleans chicken sandwich and the chicken tender. I would definitely come back again.
