Old Mill Toronto Restaurant

Had Christmas lunch. Food was delicious. Service was friendly and caring. Atmosphere was festive with ambience and carols. Had a memorable experience.

Visited for a scotch tasting event. Loved the wood covered room and the cozy atmosphere. It was evident that the event organizer was passionate about the selected scotches and the dishes the chef had prepared for the event. The scotches were paired well over the 5 course meal. The event was well organized and overall I really enjoyed my time at the Old Mill. I plan to go back again.

The old mill is very special to me. I have been there several times over the years and every time was an experience ill never forget. The food is spectacular. I love the fact that i can choose from a variety of dishes. The service is ten out of ten and the ambience alone says it all. Such an amazing restaurant and hotel in Toronto. I will keep going back! ☺️

The Old Mill is a little gem located in West Toronto. The facility is like an oasis, and once you step inside, you wouldn't you're in Canada's largest city. I'd be willing to bet that some locals visit the Old Mill to have an escape without traveling. Good food and service .. nice historic objects in the lobby and hallways.

Had a wonderful anniversary dinner last night on the patio. The food was really flavourful and cooked perfectly - we had the lobster risotto and the seafood linguini. I’d get both those dishes again. Portions perfect size. Big chunks of tender seafood. White wine broth with the linguini was super yum. We are fairy good home cooks and make risotto at home but this has more flavour than we ourselves can achieve. Server Karen did a great job, very attentive. The live music was appreciated and not overpowering and scenery lovely as usual. Was a very elegant and relaxing experience and I think a perfect environment for an anniversary, date, business meeting, a catch-up session with friends, anything where you want the whole experience but where it is quiet enough to hold a conversation. A hidden gem.

Restaurant is located in hotel, with a long long walk from parking lot. Came for the brunch buffet, far below expectation for a $50 per person (after tips almost $70) buffet. Hot dishes are duplicated on both sides with not many choices. Meat is hard not tender at all. All Salad are with similar ingredients spread half of the buffet area. Can you imagine - No juice bar for a high end buffet! Only coffee and tea are included, with slow refill. Not recommended this place.

We attended afternoon tea here and it was a lovely experience. $60 per person with a $3 charge for gluten free options. They also have separate menus for vegan, vegetarian and nut free options though no one at our table had that requirement. The tea service included choosing a tea from 12 different options. Our table ordered palace chai, Cocoa rose, heavenly cream and ginger twist. The big favourites were the Cocoa rose that had a wonderful aroma of chocolate with a light hint of rose, the taste was very much the same. The other favourite was the heavenly cream which had a wonderful flavour from the Madagascar vanilla. They also had a cocktail menu at $14 extra. We all decided to have one of those as well and were not disappointed. Lady lemonada, queen peach of Gordon, and berry mosa were all fantastic and the whole table was happy with their choices The food came on the traditional tiered plates. Each person received three finger sandwiches, two scones one sweet and one savoury (served with Devonshire cream and three different jams) and four desserts. The sandwiches were what you’d expect, I don’t eat salmon so they kindly subbed a different one but the rest of my table enjoyed the salmon. The other two were coronation chicken and creamed ricotta with peaches and bacon. By the time we’re very good. All of the desserts were fantastic and I wouldn’t be able to pick a favourite. The service was wonderful and very attentive. The washrooms were clean and well stocked. All around great experience and would definitely go back again.

One of the best restaurants I've been to in Canada! The atmosphere and food were excellent. We chose the buffet, and there was plenty of food to choose from. The service was polite, but it was a challenge since we went on the Saturday before Father's Day. We explored the rest of the place, and the hotel and spa look enchanting. We definitely need to go back!
