Fantastic food at Oji Seichi with flavourful and delicious food. I've visited twice and have tried quite a few different menu items: Ramen - the veggie miso ramen is my favourite, it has the most flavour, followed by the spicy sesame chicken. The other classic ramens are a bit too plain for me. A side of pork belly and/or chicken katsu is highly recommended. For me, personally, the ramens are a tad too salty but it may be fine for others' palates. Sides - the seaweed and cucumber salad is quite good. It is a simple dish but the saltiness of the sauces balances well with cucumbers and seaweed. The gyozas are also very good (the chicken and pork taste similar). Dessert - like piglets, we ordered fries and the ice cream with caramel for dessert, which turned out to be a great combination. Next time, I'd go without the fries and just order ice cream. Our server, Henry, was extremely attentive, nice, and courteous. I would return to Oji Seichi for all my ramen cravings!

Does not taste authentic at all (which is expected since head chef and owners are not Japanese LOL). Spicy miso tastes like a bowl of spicy noodles you can get in Chinatown for a fraction of the price. Shio was ok. Everything was salty. Protein was decent.

We came here with the kids last Friday. The noodles were al dente and the broth was rich. We also got the kids set which the children gobbled up quickly. Will come back!

favourite ramen place in eastend (possibly in toronto?) - i always get their classic shoyu or shio but tried the vegetarian miso one this time. the broth was v rich, mushroomy, full of umami (im not a vegetarian). oji seichi really does their broth well

Delicious, small Japanese restaurant with minimalistic interior Had the veggie miso ramen - very delicious savory salty ramen with good balance of flavors on top of fragrant wild mushroom aroma Also ordered the veg Korroke sandy. A veg croquette patty, perfectly fried on a burger bun topped with cabbage. Moderately delicious croquette, flavor on the bland side, overpowered by the cabbage. Henry has been very helpful with food selection. He has been very friendly, accommodating making the dining experience excellent

The service here was simply amazing. The gentleman was working alone as the waiter in the restaurant and he was very attentive and friendly. We tried their fries with nori ranch sauce as an appetizer. It came as a handful of fries with a side of ranch dressing. The fries were a bit on the salty side, and the ranch sauce was nothing special. We also had their shio and shoyu ramen. The broth for both were okay, not super flavorful. I had also read a review praising their soft serve ice cream with salted Caramel and crispy noodle and wanted to give it a try. The concept of it is interesting, but the combination of it all was not to my liking.

Was quite pleased with the environment and the open kitchen concept. Service was prompt and courteous. Food was great, broth was a balance of savouriness but not overpowering. The only thing was portion wise left more to be desired and left still hungry. At $20 a bowl, maybe just a tad more would've been nice.

Their classic shio ramen was a bit salty and not particularly unique to other ramen across the city, but their veggie miso ramen was quite flavourful and loaded with roasted mushrooms which was amazing. The soft serve toppings were also unique, but the actual vanilla ice cream wasn’t. Seating available indoors and outdoors, variety of Japanese inspired drinks available and the service was great.
