Odds is an independent local on James St. South in downtown Hamilton. We serve all your bar faves, and plenty of veggie options. We have craft beers, dad beers, cocktails and all the popcorn you can eat. We’re the perfect spot for an afternoon hang, dinner with pals, and late-night drinks. It's the most inclusive spot to watch the game, and any other appointment viewing. Bar and kitchen open late every night.

I recently had the pleasure of visiting Odds Bar in Hamilton, and I must say, it was an exceptional experience! The food was absolutely delicious, with a variety of options that cater to all tastes. From their famous nachos to the mouth-watering chicken sandwich, every bite was a delight. The atmosphere was cozy and welcoming, making it the perfect spot for a night out. One of the highlights of my visit was the trivia night hosted by Jose. He was engaging, funny, and kept the energy high throughout the evening. The trivia questions were challenging yet fun, making it a great way to spend time with friends. Jose’s charisma and enthusiasm truly made the night memorable. If you’re looking for a place with great food, a fantastic selection of craft beers, and an entertaining trivia night, Odds Bar is the place to be. I can’t wait to go back!

Free movie pop popcorn. Fun tight atmosphere. Came here at 12 midnight and stayed with a wedding party until 2am and it was a good time. Staff were great. People were drunk. Movie on screen and a game on another. Will be back

Love the atmosphere and staff. Food is good, but not too many options. The real draw is Jose trivia on Wednesday nights. We started attending around 2 years ago on a whim and attend as often as we can!

Odds was on point tonight. I wanted a place to watch the Eastern Semis (Knicks vs Pacers). Didn’t know what to expect with it being a Friday, but I was able to find seat at the bar. They were bumping Girl Talk for music so I knew I was in the right place. Straight vibes. I ordered a Guinness w/ chicken fingers and fries and they were amazing. As well, when requested , the bartender switched to the basketball game. Great overall experience and I will definitely be returning. Odds redefines sports bars.

Finally got to Hamilton and made a point of taking my kids (14 and 18) to Odds after I ran a trail race in the area this morning. Very cozy, charming little neighborhood pub where I imagine there are a dedicated group of regulars as it feels like an extension of home. Lots of TVs to watch whatever sports you want to see. We arrived just before the NHL All-Star game was starting so they were showing the skills competition replay from the night before on some TVs, other sports on others. Didn’t catch the server’s name but he was super chill… :) The food was fantastic. My youngest is a really picky eater and afraid to try new restaurants. She was worried she wouldn’t find something she liked. As it happened, she ordered a hamburger and fries in a very specific way and they made it so perfect she left literally nothing on the plate- I’ve never seen her do that- ever. My other daughter ordered the Caesar salad and cauliflower nuggs- both amazing. She took the leftovers home and had them for supper. I had the grilled cheese and parm fries- perfect post-race comfort food! My kids were super impressed with Odds. It’s not too far from the arena where I play summer hockey so I can see this being a more regular outing for us come May as they’ll be asking to come back! 😊

The staff was very friendly and helpful, small and cozy restaurant with lots of TVs to watch sports. There is free popcorn but the machine smells strong when sitting close to it. The wings are huge! The burger was tasty and the tots were perfect.

Hamilton's essential sports bar. Food is great. Lots of selection of beer. I'd certainly never want to go anywhere else to watch a sports game.

Probably the best burger I have ever had. Ordered the smash burger (it was shared) along with the pizza bao. I would have liked the bao to have a bit more filling but it was delicious. The smash burger is a must try! So juicy! Ordered with side Caesar salad. I personally didn't care for the crispy onions because they got soggy with the greens. If review was just based on food, I'd give it a five. Service could have been more prompt and the bathrooms need a good scrub.
