Odd Burger

I have been a loyal customer for 5 years eating at both the College and Old Dufferin location. However, I recently purchased $90 worth of frozen food because of their promotion and I am so disappointed. They taste like absolutely nothing and do not resemble what it tastes like in the restaurant. The nuggets and the sausage patties all had ZERO flavor and my kids spat it out. The food in both bags had freezer burn so I'm guessing they were in the freezer for too long or not sealed properly. I would like the opportunity to return the frozen food. From a quality control perspective, this should not be sold to anyone!

This VEGAN restaurant offers a variety of vegan "hamburgers," "vegan (chicken) strips, fries, onion rings desserts etc. It is godsend for people with a long list of food allergies since they do not have any dairy, eggs, Peanuts, tree nuts and only have seascapes on one of their 3 choices of hamburger buns. The food is tasty and their fries and onion rings are better than most quick service restaurants. There is no order taker and one places the order using their user-friendly monitors. Tge cook is very helpful with any question about ingredients etc. During the warm weather months, they have some tables on the sidewalk.

I am a delivery driver. I got an order from Odd Burger and went to collect the order. I waited like 5 min to talk with one of the employees and showed her the order name. The lady asked me to wait for 5 minutes for the order. I waited 10 minutes and showed her the stopwatch. After 10 minutes, she was asking me about the name of the order again. I was patient enough and said her the name of the order. Now she replied, Oh, this order has not been prepared yet; this will take time. As a delivery person, I don’t get any money on an hour basis; I only get money per order. For us, time is important, and specially we only make money during dinner. But unfortunately, that employee was so rude. After 15 minutes of waiting for the order, they still didn’t start preparing, and When I showed her that I had already waited 15 minutes. She gave me a bad look and said okay, just cancel the order. I have nothing to complain about the restaurant. But that lady was awful. If you are doing customer service, you need to be gentle. I replied, You could have said it 15 min before. It will have saved my time. Now, I wont get anything from this order. She  replied, It's your problem; I don’t have any time to talk to you. Yes, we are doing delivery; that doesn’t mean we are your servant. It was a really awful experience; she was the worst employee I have ever seen in my whole life. Yes, she took my time and energy; I just looked downward and cancelled the order. And yes, we also exchanged some words.

I love odd burger and am so happy to see their growth. The ice cream sundae and vopper are my favourites. Love the ethos of the company. Please give them a try! Here is some feedback for improvement: - low staff: short on staff makes orders take some time, even 2 simple burgers took 20 minutes - burgers were served quite cold and did not taste freshly made. However, the flavours were yummy and given more staff and care for burger presentation I’m sure they would be served up to standard. - menu should be reduced to just burgers, fries, and shakes. Removal of other items will create more efficiency in time and freshness of ingredients - improve the atmosphere with music, plants etc I hope off burger can survive and keep the Toronto community fed with delicious food for years to come! ❤️ I know they can

The food, is amazing. That is if you ever get it in time. For a place that has a fast food concept not only does it look like it's going out of business with it's sad decor, dirty tables and chairs thrown about, and a simple burger anf fries that takes 40MIN to get out. Really...horrible. UPDATE came back months later. No change. Reached out to Odd Burger like they asked and never heard back again.

Famous Burger - A copy of a Big Mac but vegan. Patty had a slightly soft and soybean taste, Taste wasn't strong, over whelming by the burger sauce and relish/pickles inside. Bun was nicely toasted but lacks a fluffy structure and springback.

First time to this vegan burger place. Place was empty and staff was just hanging around, not really freindly. They have machines you can/have to order from? Not sure if this place will actually let you order via human interaction but when we inquired they told us we HAD to use the machines. In any event, on to the food itself. Burger looked just like a big Mac! Taste wise not so much. To be completely honest it didn't really have much taste aside from the lettuce and sauces they put on it. The actual 'meat' patties were tasteless. I also had the poutine, which was much better! Fries tasted good amd gravy was good too! Overall I only went here because of my buddy who is vegan. Not sure if I would return as I prefer the authentic versions (real meat) better. But I would still recommend this place to other vegans in the area!

Edit: this place has gone seriously downhill since they rebranded. The food is consistently bad (bland, undercooked, soggy), it’s significantly more expensive (you can even see it with the old prices displayed in review photos), the decor is cold and uninviting now, they’ve completely removed any connection with the staff yet still ask for tip… really disappointing. They clearly just got greedy with money and left behind the heart of the business. I can’t eat here anymore. ——————————— Easily the best vegan fast-food in the city! Really fair prices, lots of great options, always ready so fast! I love it here. The staff are always really friendly as well. The "venedict" sandwich is definitely the best thing on the menu, paired with the fries supremacy and the strawberry milkshake!
