Not a fan of their staff. Smoothie itself was great. Was *trying to order a kids chocolate smoothie. Service was slow - which was odd because there was no one else in line in front of us. When the smoothie was ready, it was a GREEN smoothie. They didn’t notify us that it was meant for us, so we didn’t bother grabbing it. After 10 min in total of waiting I inquired about the chocolate smoothie - realizing they got the order wrong. They agreed to remake it, but didn’t bother to provide us the wrong smoothie they made, apologize, or offer some sort of deal in apology. The workers didn’t seem like they knew how to make it until another coworker took over (who was initially playing around, laughing and joking behind the front. In frustration I asked if they could just upgrade the size for the large one, in which they agreed. After 15 min total of waiting for a $13 smoothie, I won’t be coming back to this location - sad, because I was actually admiring the design and ambiance until the service ruined it.

Nutbar, in downtown Toronto, is a charming and aromatic coffee spot known for its exceptional nutmilk drinks. I tried their matcha latte made with a blend of cashew, almond, and coconut milk. While the nutmilk added a unique twist, the taste felt slightly unusual to me—but it’s clear they take pride in crafting quality beverages. I’m intrigued to explore more flavors on their menu and will definitely return for another try. Nutbar is worth visiting for anyone curious about innovative, health-focused drinks.

Great acai bowl with a perfect ratio of toppings to smoothie, one of the best in the area actually. I really enjoyed it! The only thing I wish for is a different type of bowl instead of a cup, just for easier eating. Overall, still a tasty and satisfying treat! I kinda felt it was a bit pricy, wish it was like a $1 cheaper lol.

i have only tried orange+ and vanilla. The vanilla was good a little bit sweet and creamy feels very healthy and filling as well but the orange+ was not up to my expectation the ginger taste was dominant cannot taste mango or orange. It was just overall a sour ginger taste drink and it is $13.5 dollars😭😭 Anyone can you please recommend me a good tasty drink from their menu because i cant waste 12-18$ for a healthy drink but doesn’t taste very delicious

Nutbar is 100% by guilty pleasure! Yes, it can be pricy, but deam it’s worth it. For sure the best matcha I’ve EVER had, and I truly believe it’s because of their own house made nut milk. I always go for their Super Matcha, delicious both hot or cold. And when I feel like it I treat myself with one of their small super bites where I can recommend them all.

If you want to sit in, they only have 4 tables so keep that in mind, the place was busy on a sunday afternoon. overall a cute spot to grab a smoothie IF you’re a health nut. I wasn’t too pleased with the service, not friendly nor welcoming. The chocolate smoothie ($13.50 bef tax) was great, good flavours, you’re definitely paying for the quality of the ingredients. The supersuperfood bar ($3.75), was bite sized. the flavours were also nice, right amount of sweetness, not too chewy, hefty price point. If you’re someone that values health oriented ingredients this is definitely the place for you, but if you’re not, I’d skip it as it’s not worth it at this price point. They’re popular for the chocolate smoothie but it wasn’t anything to write home about.

Mushroom toast is worth the hype. The house made tapenade and drizzle of honey with the chili flakes created a very interested flavor profile that’s so moorish! The tomato soup was also very good. Highly recommend both. Matcha latte was not good though, the nut milk was very grainy, not smooth at all and the matcha flavor was very weak. I didn’t finish it. For a cafe named nut bar, that’s a bit unfortunate.

Hidden gem. A small almost secret place where the neighbourhood locals go. They’re known for their smoothies and juices but they also serve toasts, salads, bowls, soups, aside from their healthy bars and cookies. I tried their roasted bell pepper and tomato soup with croutons and it was delicious. Even better, it’s all organic! I can’t wait to return and try their toast and other food and drink products. They also have candles and other wellness products for sale.
