I absolutely love this place! I’ve tried a few items from their menu now and everything has been great for the most part. Their beef bulgogi poke bowl is by far my favourite meal from Nozomi - one of my go to meals of all places actually. It’s perfect in almost every way (I don’t care for edamame, so I leave that stuff out). The portion size is generous, the beef bulgogi is delicious with a lot of flavour in that marinade. The entire poke bowl put together is incredible. The beef bulgogi bowl is a meal I enjoy quite often and will always come back to. I’ve also tried their chicken poke bowl and it’s also very good with them using fried chicken. Recently I’ve tried their Hot Honey Inferno chicken sandwich to kind of mixed feelings. While the sandwich is very good overall, chicken is golden fried deliciousness and the hot honey sauce is the perfect blend of sweet and spicy, unfortunately the bun does not hold up well. The sandwich as a whole tends to fall apart quite easily, mainly because the bun gets soggy very quick. I understand there are sauces in this sandwich which could contribute to this but I’ve had many burgers and chicken sandwiches delivered where it doesn’t fall apart and the bun is perfect. I absolutely recommend this sandwich, just be wary that mine has fallen apart easily. One big knock I do have with Nozomi is the price of the certain items. I feel their poke bowls are priced very fair but their burger and sandwich combos are not - especially the fries. First off, their fries look nothing like what is shown in their photos on the website and delivery apps - a bit misleading in my opinion. Secondly (and most important) these are the exact same fries that are sold at the Costco hot food bar. Don’t get me wrong, these fries are incredible. Even with delivery, they are still crisp. But $6 for the fries is highway robbery. What makes this worse is that Nozomi advertises meal combos on delivery apps like door dash but you’re not getting any discount. Not even 50 cents, as you’re still paying the same price for the burger or sandwich, the same $6 for the fries. The combos are also advertised as including a drink but only bottled water is included in the combo price. It’s an extra $1.50 min for any other drink. So really, there is no discount with any combo meal that they advertise. At least with a McDonalds meal, you’ll getting a few cents discount (I’m fully aware there is a big difference in food quality between Nozomi and McDonalds, I’m simply talking about price). Overall, I do find some of their menu unfairly priced but I would recommend Nozomi. If you’re money conscious, just be wary. If you’re one that doesn’t care about the frills and just wants a sandwich or burger with no sides, then for sure I’d recommend the food from here because it’s delicious. I would absolutely recommend the poke bowls from Nozomi as they are truly one of my favourite delivery/take out meals - this is what will keep me going back to Nozomi.

I had been waiting awhile to order from Nozomi. I finally have and ordered the Hot Honey Inferno Meal (added Grilled Onion/tomato/add bacon), side Fries, Ginger Ale. I liked the sandwich but, didn't like the burn circle on the bun. As I am picky, lol. I may order another time but, no rush as it took a long time to receive the order and presentation was another.

My partner and I visited this restaurant for the first time today and were very excited to try their food as we saw very positive reviews from previous diners. We ordered the salmon poke bowl and the beef bulgogi poke bowl. The food was sufficiently fresh and tasted good. We were just very disappointed as the beef bowl was half empty. For the price we are being charged, we expected a more decent portion. The staff is friendly and quick with preparing orders which was very nice. The restaurant itself has a cute artsy vibe to it but a little bit dusty & not too clean if you’re planning on dining in (space is very limited). Overall, our experience was satisfactory. Not the best tasting poke bowls I’ve had in the city or the best portions for the prices but not bad if you’re passing by and need a quick bite.

Got the kalbi burger and I’ve gotta say, it was one of the best burgers I’ve had in my entire life. The textural and flavour combination of the soft brioche bun, warm caramelized onions, gooey provolone cheese, and juicy kalbi-marinated meat was divine. My only regret is not getting a double patty! The delicious experience was far too evanescent and a little expensive but so worth it. Have also tried the salmon and bulgogi poke bowls—love the salmon one. Salmon pocos are delectable as well, albeit pricey for their size. The hot honey chicken sandwich is also another show-stopper and a must-try. The interior is quite cute and the service is very friendly. They once gave us a package of homemade dog treats for our dog waiting outside.

It's a cozy place with an artistic vibe. While there's not too much place to dine in, the food and service is great. We ordered the Salmon Poke and Tuna Poke. Both were delicious, filling, and healthy. If you're looking for a decent spot in the area, give it a try!

I visited this place almost exactly one year ago to the date for a Yelp Elite event! My gf and I were so impressed with it that we vowed to come back again. The first time around we tried a hot honey sando and the original chicken sando. I absolutely loved both but my gf is allergic to spicy so this time around we ordered some salmon poké tacos and a regular sized bulgogi bowl. The original chicken sando is just as amazing as we remembered it. SUPER CRUNCHY (despite being drenched in sauce), SUPER JUICY and HUGE. I really liked how fresh the salmon poké was too. The seaweed salad was a nice complement to and the taco shells were fried perfectly. The bulgogi beef bowl was very tasty although I do wish it had a little bit more beef (although it was super pretty to look at). A regular size is still a decent amount of food altogether and the rice was yummy.

Absolutely amazing value for money! The food here is really tasty, good portion size, and won't make a dent on your wallet. I've tried their chicken sandwhich and loved it: crispy skin, super tender meat l, nice springy bun, tangy secret sauce. Also tried the bulgogi bowl which I also enjoyed: sweet beef, good amount of side veggies. Nozomi is a take-out spot so you'll been to grab and go. Despite that, the owners make it as welcoming and friendly an environment as any dine-in place. Male sure to stop by if you want a really tasty and affordable bite!

Got the chicken sandwich and it was delicious! Very juicy with a nice crunch to it. Perfect amount of sauce and the owner was awesome to talk to as well. It doesn't feel oily or greasy and the spicy mayo gives it a nice kick to it. Everything was packaged neatly and organized. We were the first customer of the day and even got some free cookies! The chocolate chip cookie was so fresh and soft. I can eat a box of them. Definitely would be back if I'm in the area again.
