Nostalgia made the best breakfast burrito I've ever had. I could immediately taste how fresh the ingredients were. Plus, friendly owners and great service. A MUST visit!

Hidden gem cafe for a big range selection of breakfast and lunch . Tried their special for today, which was a tender roast beef with tomato on a bun with tomato red pepper soup. Very delicious! If you’re craving for a really good sandwich, old fashion way, this is the place to go. The chef was very friendly and passionate about his creations, & said that he often rotate and tries new things for new menu . Can’t wait to try more. Also had a soy chai, which hit the spot. Love the nostalgic cozy homey vibe of the place. Very neighborhood like cafe :)

A nice casual spot with good, well priced, home style food and friendly, fast service. The menu is fairly extensive but everything I've had tastes freshly made, and it's real food, made from scratch. It's a bit difficult to get to right now, with the street dug up out front, but it's worth making a bit of effort. You can park on one of the nearby residential streets.

We started our journey today to discover the best place to enjoy a cup of coffee. We are looking at atmosphere, customer service, and, most importantly, taste. Today, we visited Nostalgia Coffee Company at 855 O'Connor Dr, East York, ON M4B 2S7. Steve Arnold had a medium roast large black coffee, and I had a medium roast double double with a swig more cream to get it to the "exact color." We split a butter tart, and I had two scoops of pistachio ice cream. The service was great. They were friendly and fast. The atmosphere was cute. The walls were done in blackboard paint with the menu written them. The coffee was good, butter tart good, and ice cream good. Nothing spectacular, other than the service, and nothing at all was bad. On a scale of 1-10, the following is my rating: ☕️ customer service 10 ☕️ atmosphere 8 ☕️ taste 5 Steve's rating ☕️ customer service 10 ☕️ atmosphere 6 ☕️ taste 5.5

I have been here multiple times and I absolutely love this cafe. The vibe, the service, the food everything here is so lovely. I love their hot chocolate with oatmilk/ almond milk. Their cappuccino is also really nice. They have a lot of options for food and especially there are options for vegetarians!! Lot of varieties of teas, coffees and icecreams.

What a nice surprise! This cafe is warmly decorated, and features an extensive menu of breakfast and lunch options, including French toast, breakfast burritos (which I tried), pastries, and sandwiches. My burrito and oat milk latte were delicious and I think cheaper than getting a premade breakfast at a chain store. The service is friendly and the space is comfortable. The large community board gives a sense of place and belonging. If only I lived nearer, I’d be back!

Nostalgia is a wonderful place to have breakfast or lunch. You walk into a warm & friendly place with generous seating & a cozy kitschy atmosphere. The dining room is spotless & well kept. Even with the vintage decor it’s not all beat up or worn out. Great homemade menu items served with a smile. Lots of selections to choose from that arrive fresh & fast. Our favourites are the Ham Egg n Cheese croissant & the French Toast. The fresh homemade soup will warm your bones on a cold rainy morning & is delicious. There are pastries & great tasting coffee if you’re just looking for a light takeaway breakfast or you can sit down & tuck into a full breakfast. The decor is warm & inviting. The large & small tables are perfect for a couple or a group. Art on the walls & large windows gives the dining room a warm & inviting vibe. The canned music playing in the background is not too loud so you can enjoy a conversation without having to talk over it. The coffee station is fully stocked so you can make your go juice just the way you like. The wee patio is nice on a summer morning. The staff are always friendly & make you feel welcome. ⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️ stars is not enough for this hidden gem on the East Side.
