North of Brooklyn Pizzeria

If you’re looking for a pizza spot that delivers big on flavor with a side of cozy vibes, North of Brooklyn Pizza is where it’s at. We stopped by and sampled the Truffle Shuffle and the classic NY Cheese Pizza, and let’s just say—this place knows its dough. The Truffle Shuffle is a truffle lover’s dream. The earthy truffle oil paired with gooey cheese, and roasted mushrooms every bite a perfectly balanced mix of indulgence and freshness. It’s the kind of pizza that feels fancy without trying too hard. On the flip side, the NY Cheese Pizza is simplicity at its best. With a crispy yet chewy crust, a tangy tomato sauce, and just the right amount of stretchy cheese, it’s everything you’d want from a New York-style slice. However, I did feel like there was room to better this one - I have had better ones before as compared to this version. The good thing is the staff were friendly, the atmosphere was relaxed, and the pizzas came out fresh and piping hot.

Some of the best Neapolitan pizza I have ever had. The crust is crispy yet chewy on the inside and the toppings are always high quality. The decor at greenwood location is quite homey and relatively is a relatively small by restaurant. It can be quite busy at peak time so expect to wait if you are looking to dine in. We have ordered take out and delivery in the past, but recommend dining in. 5/5.

Recieved my pizza in a white box with my name scratched on the side. If I wanted that kind of experience I would have just ordered from the corner guy with the $5.00 special. They had lots of the nice boxes available, perhaps I was a victim of profiling. Not the right kind of experience from such a reputable establishment with such rave representation by the best of Toronto. Very disappointed and discouraged

It's a decent pie, kinda floppy at the end. I fear mine had too much tomato sauce which made it tangy. The garlic dip tasted nice though I found it relatively small. I've heard great things about North of Brooklyn, perhaps I came on an off day. Nice service though

2 1/2 hours to deliver 2 medium pizzas 6 kilometres away. Tried calling the store to see what is taking so long but no answer. Plus looks like the pizzas were dropped. Although the mangled pizza was tasty, it was a very very poor experience overall. UPDATE: store responded to the review asking me to email them “so the my can make things right”. Emailed 3 weeks ago…no response.

A neighborhood gem serving my favorite pizza in Toronto. Great New York style pizza with quality ingredients and amazing service. We have been visiting this spot couple times and it has been a place that always hits the spot. They also have an amazing drink selection with local beers on tap! We loved it so much that we decided to do our engagement shoot here aswell! Shout-out to Josh & Jason for helping us make this happen! They were so kind and went above and beyond in bringing our vision to life. The dining room has a great vibe and speaks for itself. ❤️ We really wanted to capture that in our pictures and of course our love for pizza as well 🍕

Warning! If you're looking to dine in, you're looking for "Better Half" with different hours!! Hidden little place up the stairs, entrance off Greenwood just north of Danforth. Cute retro diner decor. Despite the "Order Here" sign, it is table service with really kind and helpful staff! We got the Killer Bee (regular menu) and Maui (temporary special) were both delicious!! A little sweet and a little spicy. The crust is thin and crispy and the toppings are rich with flavour. They've got alcoholic and non-alcoholic beverages, including a couple non-alcoholic beers. Recommended parties of 1-4, maybe 6. It's a small place. There is a seasonal patio area too. Great local gem. Will be back! Would love to try some of the smaller non-pizza items.

Buffalo Wings were awesome. North of Brooklyn serves up some of the best pizza in town. Their thin-crust pies are perfectly crisp, with fresh, flavorful toppings. The ambiance is casual and inviting, making it a great spot for a relaxed meal. Highly recommended! However it became hard to chew as soon as pizza got bit cold. Great service
