The food here has been consistently great for many years . A well established restaurant with good prices offers take out or dine in. Daily specials are an excellent value!

I got a take out order of the Noodle Delight, well 3 actually, and it was deeeelishous. Also, cheap. It’s not fine dining so you can’t walk in there expecting an ambiance. Excellent take out idea

I’ve been eating at various Noodle Delight Locations, Finch and Alness (before they closed), Mississauga and Scarborough, for the last 30 years. So I am more than familiar with how the food should taste. I used to love it some much that I even ate it on my wedding day before the reception (Finch and Alness location). Unfortunately, the last time I was there was the last time I’ll ever eat there again. The quality of the food has severely gone down to a point that it’s not even worth eating there anymore. I ordered a Nanking (Beef and Broccoli over noodles) and the food was made so sloppy. They put way too much sauce where it was like eating a soupy mess. I had to spoon out the sauce to make it bareable to eat, but with all that sauce it made the noodles soggy. Worst of all they replaced the broccoli with bak choy. The dish is supposed to be beef and broccoli. It’s been that way for the longest time and to change it to bak choy to save a few dollars is deplorable. If you’re looking for a noodle place, it’s better to look elsewhere because you’re not going to get any quality here anymore.

I was a regular customer to this restaurant called "Noodle Delight" a few years ago before COVID 19 hit. I would recommend it to my friends. However my opinion of this restaurant have changed drastically. On Sunday August 4th, 2024. I bought Yang Chow Fried Rice take out from this restaurant. The portion was big, the service was quick. My son ate half box of the fried rice, two hours later he vomited and vomited. Just to prove that it was not caused by the Fried Rice, I tried a few spoons, immediately after tasting it, I knew the fried rice tasted weird and awful, like ammonia. I immediately threw the fried rice to garbage. My son kept vomiting, we took him to NYGH Emergency. While accompanying my son in the ER room. I suddenly felt nausea too, and I vomited in the ER room(and this happened about two hours after I sampled a few spoon of the fried rice). Doctor did blood tests, ultrasound, and urine samples. Doctor confirmed it is food poisoning for both my son and me. I don't know what happened to this restaurant that I used to love. Have the management or ownership change? Why there is no quality / hygiene check ? Perhaps the rice it cooked/served was spoiled rice that was not kept properly? Please DO NOT order anything with rice from this restaurant!!! I am posting this hoping its owner/management will take a serious check and review its food safety protocol. Do not compromise big portion, quick service with food safety! Your health matters!!!

Ignore the other reviewer, I have been a loyal customer at Noodle Delight for over 20 Years! The secret with ANY asian restaurant is to know what to order, because each place has it's specialties and if you order the wrong thing you come away with the wrong impression. That's why it's good to do a little research before you go and then you have a clue. Noodle Delight is basically all the classic Noodle and rice dishes from various regions of China and Southeast Asia that have been made less scary for unfamiliar folks, by giving them clever names and making them easy to order. This is to authentic Chinese food what fast food is to American cuisine. Best items include the 'Kobe' which is their version of "beef ho fun" or "gon chau ngau ho" 乾炒牛河 which is tender beef seared in a dry wok with soy sauce, onion, bean sprouts and flat rice noodles - very tasty! If you prefer curry flavour the 'Malay' has the same dry curry flavour as Singapore Noodles, but with wide, flat rice noodles instead of skinny vermicelli noodles. Both are great. Similar to Cantonese Chow Mein, but with their own twist is the signature 'Noodle Delight', made with crisp fried noodles and the sauced meat and veggies overtop. Be forewarned that what they call Pad Thai is NOT what you are used to, but it is a well-liked noodle dish, if not traditional. Other popular dishes that I see a significant number of people ordering include the Hong Kong, Bangkok, and Kwung Tung, but I tend to stick to the Kobe and Szechuan Chicken Rice or Malay Noodles :). All the dishes have the desired 'wok hei' which is translated as breath of the wok, and refers to that smoky, properly seared flavor that noodle and meat dishes get when they are cooked quickly over high heat in a carbon steel wok. Most of the dishes are named after cities where they originated, and all of the dishes have photographs and detailed descriptions in the big binder if you want to look through and choose, purposely made safe and easy to order something that you're going to enjoy. I recommend you go and give it a shot, I'm sure you can find a dish or two that would become your favorite, too.

Big portion of food with good price. You can't beat that price on this location, very close to 401. The taste is great , if you are going to spend $12 for fast food, why not check this store.

This place been around for almost 40 years, started to go there since late 90s. Managed by owner, very traditional Hong Kong style chinese food. Still have very competitve price, dinner special is around $12. Soup or drink extra. Make sure you bring cash, they only accept the king and debit (fee on you). Lot of parking, lot of dinner area, as most customer we seen are ordering take out at of time of our last visit. Curry brisket, fried chicken wings, sweet and sour chicken just to name a few.
