I called the store & from the start everyone was so pleasant to speak with. I placed a large order for a catered event. The food was absolutely delicious and was delivered on time. I highly recommend this establishment, they offer excellent customer service & food. Thank you Karen.

We ordered an oxtail and a fried chicken dinner with rice and peas. It was very, very tasty and well-seasoned. The veggies that were served with it was nice and crunchy. We enjoyed our meal to full satisfaction. Keep everything just as is, same chef, same spices.

I had a delightful experience at Nicey’s Eatery Caribbean restaurant. The front staff were friendly and welcoming, and the restaurant itself was clean, exuding a vibrant atmosphere. I ordered the oxtail with rice and peas, as well as the curry goat. The goat is my favorite dish, and it’s consistently delicious—especially when prepared by Ms. Watty, who really knows just how to balance the spices without overwhelming heat. The portion sizes were generous, making for a satisfying meal. Their soups are tasty and filling too.. Highly recommend!

It's been quite a while since I've been to Nicey's and it will be even longer before I return. Their food and service have fallen off drastically since my last visit. My friend and I had their Curry Goat and Curry Chicken. They were both disappointingly flavourless, especially the included cooked vegetables. Curry by itself is very flavourful but these dishes were very bland. Unfortunately, the service was no better. The staff seemed to be just going through the motions - not very friendly or inviting at all. Prices also seemed quite high.

North Scarborough has really nice food that comes from Nicely’s! This authentic Jamaican restaurant is located in the Markham and Finch area and serves food favorites with the right amount of seasoning and good presentation. For today’s visit, I ordered Jerk Chicken with Festival, Curry Goat with white rice, and Bar-B-Fry Chicken with Rice and Peas (see pic attached). All dishes were delicious and the serving size was generous. Orders do not come with fried plantain (just in case you’re wondering). If you are in the area, I highly recommend you dine (there is inside and outdoor dining available) in or order takeout. The staff is knowledgeable and thoughtful, making sure your tastebuds are happy. The restaurant is accessible and there is ample free parking! P.S. They have drive-thru service too 😋

Best plantain I've ever tried in my life, and I've had a lot of West Indian style plantain. It was so thick and juicy and perfectly caramelized. The oxtail was plentiful and not just bones. Rice and peas needed a lot of gravy, otherwise it was a bit dry, so be sure to ask for extra gravy. Was not a huge fan of the coleslaw, but others I was with enjoyed it. It was nice to sit on the patio and enjoy the cool summer breeze. Once the outside drums got started though, it was a bit smokey, so keep that in mind if you need to get back to work 🤣 Overall it was a great experience. Friendly staff. Definitely going back with the fam.

I had the regular jerk chicken for lunch and it had good flavour and seasoning. I appreciated the fact that the chicken was nice and hot in temperature. Definitely recommend getting oxtail gravy over the rice and the pepper sauce gives it all a fresh spicy kick.

Nicey’s Eatery is one of my top favourite places to eat. The authentic flavours, great selection and friendly service keeps me and the family coming back every time. Honestly everything I have tried here is so delicious. The Oxtail and Jerk chicken are my top two go to meals here. The festivals and fried plantains are the perfect accompaniment to any main course. A great selection of Caribbean drinks are offered to help wash down all that delicious food. Thank you for being on point every time!!
