OMGGGG!! THE SERVICE IS TERRRRIBLE. UNBELIEVABLE... I asked to put a bit more noodles because the server was being so stingy with the serving size. The gentleman then wanted to charge it to me as one item. I refused to pay for it as 'one' item and he took my plate and AGGRESSIVELY dumped a portion of the noodles in the garbage - in front of me. He'd rather dumped the food in the garbage rather than give the SMALL portion of noodles to the paying customer. DISGUSTING! I CANNOT BELIEVE WHAT I JUST WITNESSED.

I don’t usually go for American-Chinese, but when the craving hits, it has to be done. And New Wok New Wok? They nailed it. With just the right retro vibe in their menu, they served up a legit memory lane moment that took me back to the grit of graveyard shifts and soldiering through shopping mall days. The service might be spotty for some, but credit where it’s due, they actually welcomed my questions and helped me figure out what to order. You don’t see that kind of effort in many food court spots. I went with a variety of meat toppings on a Lo Mein base, and while it leaned a bit salty, the flavors were clear, bold, and unapologetically classic. Exactly what I needed. It’s not fancy, but it doesn’t try to be. It’s comforting, straightforward, and honest. Qualities that hit differently when you’re chasing nostalgia. Oh, and the name? Love it. Can’t help but laugh every time I say it. If you’re looking for old-school vibes and flavors that get the job done, give it a shot. It’s got character, and sometimes, that’s all you need.

Food is not good at all. Service is not good at all. Food are salty and just no quality whatsoever. Noodles are soggy and just full of onion. Hot and sour soup did not taste like hot and sour soup at all. No tofu in the soup just egg drop and soy sauce. I ask for extra chopstick cashier plainly said "No" with no explanation.

The food was below average. Tasted far from what it should’ve been. More than half of the meat was overcooked/ burnt. Had old oil aftertaste. The portion size is not what’ you’d expect for $15. Wouldn’t recommend. Steer clear!

1st pic-Taste really oily and soggy no flavour looks really depressing, chicken is cold and the noodles are literally the side dish of the vegetables (more veggies then noodles). 2nd pic-I think I got salmonella the chicken was really squishy tasted uncooked, while making this review my stomach is hurting as a fellow Asian this is not giving back home this is giving store bought. Literal rubber😐

Went on Saturday, 11:30 am. I ordered some takeout. Very disappointing. Chicken was dry and over cooked. Some pieces were stuck together and looked like the space shuttle tiles. Burnt beyond recognition. Ordered was topped up with little pieces instead of nice chunks of chicken. The best part of the meal was a can of coke. Maybe it was the time of day or leftovers from the previous day, but I would think twice before ordering. Remember, in a food court, there is a reason they have lineups. The customers know which concessions serve good food.

The lady serving the food was very stingy when serving even the rice and noodles. The szechuan chicken I had was a special for Saturday. I left out all the celery as they were all raw and the rest of the vegetables were also undercooked.

"I am utterly disappointed with my experience at New Wok in Vaughan Mills. The Chinese food served was absolutely horrendous. Not only was it tasteless and bland, but the portions were also meager, and the service was abysmal. Save your money and taste buds and steer clear of this establishment."
