New Flower Drum Restaurant

Ordered today on NYE. Expected a major delay in delivery due to the busy schedule, but food came piping Hot, Delicious, within 25 minutes and the driver was very curteous and efficient! Amazing! Definitely recommend this restaurant! 😊

Great family run restaurant, lots of friendly people and free pool! The food is delicious, I recommend the chicken wings or the chef special! The beer is always cold! Thank you for always making us feel welcomed and like we are at home.

The old Chinese owner should learn not to demean their own race, specifically Asian people. Their treatment of white individuals and people of other races is noticeably different. They show great respect toward white people but often mistreat and belittle Asians.

I can't believe I didn't come here sooner!! What a restaurant!! They do all the cantonese classics so well! The shrimp wonton soup is the absolute BEST I've had anywhere in Canada. Seriously, anywhere... The spicy wings are phenomenal; they're crispy and juicy and just perfect!! The cantonese chow mein was delicious.. The beef in black bean sauce was simply perfect as well.. Tried some bbq pork slices and ended up grabbing more to take home... Btw, that red house-made hot sauce that they sell is like a drug... I've been putting it on everything and my dad also is obsessed with it! So that's just the food, the owners are awesome people as well- really solid. I was so happy to give them my money! i think they've been there for like over 20 or 30 years so that really says something... Oh yeah and there's actually a huge selection of alcohol too... All in all, a solid, solid little hidden gem.. Really wish I lived closer.

Chicken wings were hot and very fresh! Although we got 8 chicken wings ??? It was our first time as we love to eat out as we are food hobbyists. Wings are authentic and cooked perfectly. I was a bit disappointed with how they handled my autistic child leaving a small napkin while we were eating and the way the owner handled it. It was the bartender for me who couldn’t even fix the clover machine (IT issue ) in fact if you were nice I could have shown you a thing or two’ next time you get involved with your owners issues . The customer is right you have 0 customer service !!! We came in we said Hi to you you didn’t even look up and then had the oddity to get involved in the owners business while we spoke to her about something we did not like. You’re a terrible waitress and very informal and you should not be working anywhere until you also understand customer service, look at my reviews. In life be careful of who you hire at your business

It’s hard to find this selection of Chinese food in South Etobicoke. It’s the kind of Chinese food I grew up with, so I’ll call it authentic for me anyway. Family owned and operated, sometimes you need to check that they’re open, to avoid disappointment. It’s our go-to, when we’re not looking for Thai or Sushi. Dishes I always order include fried wonton, wonton soup, chow ho fun rice noodles, food court noodles, lemon chicken and a Shanghai noodles. Definitely worth a try if you haven’t already. Oh yea… we always do take out here! 🌟 HIGHLY RECOMMENDED

I have been here years ago and always got the chicken wings, and recall them to be good. This time tried to get some other items of the menu, which was a big mistake. The general Tao chicken was the WORST I’ve ever had, I don’t even think it was general Tao to be honest , the sauces color was way off and tasted nothing like any other one I ever had, it was like a lemon gravy flavor, which was very odd. Not to mention that the chicken was so over fried it was rock hard. The noodles were ok. The hot and sour soup was very bland. Also we had to wait extra 15 min for our order because they were behind. Over all this will be the last time I ever eat here.

Their spicy wings are very good. Big and delicious. Though, they should be consistent on having it served the same way all the time. We ordered a bunch of times here and it's inconsistent on taste. We scored one on the atmosphere because we always order take out.
