New Falafel Garden Restaurant

Owner talks very sweet and presents to be a very kind person but be aware he will rip you out of your money !……..I went there for lunch and just wanted 2 shawarmas however he convinced me to get a platter plate instead for me and my husband…..I like a fool agreed….when I asked him how much will that cost….he said don’t worry about the cost if you eat it, it will take you to paradise lol….he did not tell me the cost of the platter…..to my surprise I saw that he got a tiny oval plate with small pieces of chicken in one corner of the plate, which is usually dumped in shawarma wraps and then small portion of salad and humus, no falafel or fries at all🙄, with 2-3 tiny and thin pita bread. At the end me and my husband were still very hungry, however, I went to pay the bill and to my surprise he charged me $30 for that lol. A total rip off !!……half the price of my groceries lol………….I just paid and left and promised myself secretly to NEVER come here again!!……While driving back to home, as we were still very hungry and had to go to another restaurant to fulfill our hunger needs lol……Please be careful people please do not get carried away by his sweet talks…..at the end of this experience I felt very disappointed and kind of cheated as he did not tell me the price of the tiny platter although I asked him many times. Cannot trust anybody like this in the future!!. A bad experience to learn from!!

Absolutely the best falafel I’ve ever had! Also some of greatest service I’ve experienced. The owner is extremely friendly and welcoming. Will definitely be coming back!

Been eating this shawarma since we moved to Canada 15 years ago. Sooo delicious and different from other shawarma places. It is always fresh and tasty. The owners are wonderful people - I don’t just look forward to the food but also talking to them. Best shawarma!

Truly a hidden gem. Driven past many times, but never stopped in, till an acquaintance told me how good the food was. The owner is one of the nicest people. The food was excellent! Will certainly be returning and sharing my experience with friends and family.

Excellent service, really nice owner who made pleasant conversation. Ordered a Chicken Shawarma platter which was 20$. I had seen cheaper prices on this page. The salad items, hummus, and the lentil rice were excellent. But the chicken was just fine. Not perfectly tender, not much of a taste to it and normally you come to these shawarma places for their chicken. The quantity of chicken also could've been better for the price I'm paying. The owner said this platter can feed two people, I appreciate his eagerness, but it'd feed two small people, maybe. Perhaps I ordered during a slow time, but regardless it was an overall pleasant experience. 3/5 stars.

It has been awhile since I was able to stop by the New Falafel Gardens. I was thrilled to see it is still owned by Matt and his family. I had the chicken and beef plate with lentil rice, tabouli, coleslaw, hummus and tahini. It was amazing and authentic . The flavour is just incredible. It's a small family run business that will always give you Quality and a warm welcome. I will make sure I visit again soon.

The best Falafel I have had in Canada. Very nice owner and friendly staff. Clean and cozy environment. I enjoy my meal a lot here, every single time. My favorite is falafel and chicken mix. The portions are generous and the price is very reasonable.
