New Choice Restaurant

Had their lobster and it was very good. The portion was right. The soft shell crab was a bit small portion. The service is pretty good so I am willing to pay the 12% hidden service fee but they should really note that on the menu on the wall. They gave us some free milk tea which is nice.

It’s like you hopped on a time machine and got stuck in the 80s at this place! Okay-ish food, terrible service and worse atmosphere.

I really enjoyed my meal. I was pleasantly surprised given the less than 4 star rating. They do include a service charge, though, so don't tip on top of that. Service was good and the place had a lively atmosphere. I'll definitely be back!

Go early as this is a very crowded restaurant. The furniture and the decoration and the neon signs are all a bit worn out. Good that the food is good. We ordered the $55 set dinner for 4. It came with a soup of the day. The soup is a bit watered down but we still enjoyed it. The sweet and sour pork is very good. The yellow chicken is also very good. The Chinese green is cooked with salt egg and thousand year egg - really nice. The braised tofu and fish dish is just so so. We will go back next time to try other dishes.

We came here and picked the Fry Pigeon 4 dishes combo. Kids ask for sweet and sour pork so we paid a small fee to switch that in-lieu of the vinegar ribs on the menu. Sweet and sour pork turns out great, kids loved it. fish filet with veggies came out next, fish are definitely the frozen type but they cooked them reasonably well. So the dish turns out not bad at all. Then came the lobster, it was smaller than I expect for a 4 person combo, May be it’s off-season but I could have used more meat on the shells! Taste was a little oily and salty than my liking. Pigeon, star of the meal came out finally, it’s done right, not too dry, crispy and meaty. The size is not the big kind but good enough. We feel like adding a stir fry cramps, it’s fresh but again too oily and salty for my taste. Overall, it’s not a bad meal.

Convenient location. Cozy and clean. Haven’t visited for a long time but recommended by a family member to try their lunch special $8.50 combo which comes with a HK style hot milk tea/ coffee or lemon tea. Extra $0.60 cents for cold drink. Service was good. The staff was polite and nice. Food served fast and hot. They tasted good. We went in till out was less than 30 mins. Very cost effective.

True the owner tried her best to sell some seafood and gave recommendations on what we should order. But we just need some time on the Menu. Overall the food is ok and the waitress replaced our plates also. The service charge 12% is included in the bill.

Came here with my dad and brother one weekday. The service was typical Chinese restaurant service. The food was quite good. The food is definitely on the pricier side for your typical Chinese restaurant but still delicious. My favorite is the deep fried shrimps with the salted egg yolk coating. The pigeon is not bad but definitely over priced for how small the ones we got were. The oysters in the stone pot were great too. We also got these baked egg desserts which were apparently some kind of special for that night. They served it fresh out of the oven and it was delicious.
