New China Garden

I’ve been a loyal customer here for many years, but my recent experience was nothing short of appalling. I hosted a birthday party for 100 people and spent $1,300 on takeout from this place. The food was shockingly bad, and the so-called "beef" was completely unrecognizable—I honestly don’t even know what it was. To make matters worse, when I raised this issue directly with the owner, instead of addressing my concerns professionally, he was incredibly rude and dismissive. I even mentioned that I had been a regular customer for years, but that didn’t seem to matter to him. His response? He sarcastically told me to take the meat to a lab for testing. That level of disrespect and lack of accountability is unacceptable. I’m disgusted, not just by the food, but by how poorly the situation was handled. I won’t be coming back, and I wouldn’t recommend this place to anyone.

I picked up the vegetable chow mein today It was perfect. I picked up the lunch specials many times all was wonderful my go-to is the shrimp with vegetables dry. I plan to try many other dishes and I enjoy this restaurant dearly.

An absolute gem of a restaurant in Alabama. I’ve been coming to this restaurant since 2018 whenever I drive through Birmingham. A vegan / vegetarian oasis in a desert. Our most recent visit was just as incredible as I remember from my last time in 2019. Service was so friendly and lovely the answered all our questions. She recommended the General tsos tofu and vegetarian Mongolian beef, as well as the sesame tofu, vegetarian lo mein and garlic broccoli. Y’all. Do not miss out on any of these. Every dish was perfect. We came from a big city that has plenty of great vegetarian Chinese foods, and this restaurant would give them a run for their money. Come by and grab a bite. Best food in the city. I can’t wait to come back 😊

I have been ordering take out and the occasional dine in meal here since 2017. It has been consistently delicious over all these years and has been my go to spot! The service is good and the food always comes out so quick and hot. Large portions. Highly recommend their Szechuan chicken fried rice, general Tao chicken and the Bombay prawns dry.

I have a nasty experience here with the owner, and since that day, I have not come here on principle. I'd like to start this review by saying if I could give zero stars, I would. Here's why: we ordered one dish. A Pad Thai. We were one of two customers that afternoon. Our order took 45 minutes. It came out cold. Anyone that knows Pad Thai, knows that it's made with rice noodle. Anyone that knows rice noodle knows that cold rice noodle clumps up. So we brought our clumps back to the counter to ask for a new order. The owner straight up told us that "this wasn't a Walmart, and that we can't return food" Very disappointed. I feel like the establishment owes me stars to write this review.

Review for China Garden I recently ordered from China Garden for sweet and sour chicken soup and had a very disappointing experience. The first time, they got my order wrong, so went there to have it corrected. They assured me they would fix it, but when I received the replacement, it was still wrong! It’s frustrating to deal with mistakes not once, but twice on the same order. I expect better attention to detail and customer service. Unfortunately, I won’t be ordering from here again. this is not soup. this is completely different 2 times not ONCE twice. i need a damn refund.

Good tasty Indian Hakka Chinese food. Have been a frequent visitor in the past . Today the food was awesome. A must to visit and offers reasonable pricing too.

I love Chinese and from so many time i was searching for indo Chinese restaurant in canada. I found this place and I decided to try it. I ordered dry manchurain and chowmein noodles. The manchurian was so perfect in taste. I would recommend this place to those who are looking for indo chinese taste in Canada and missing Indian Chinese. But it was too dry. I mean there was no liquid at all and it was just fried fritters with some bell peppers and onion but the taste was proper street style. The chowmien wasn’t good at all and thats the reason i have given three starts. Chowmein had no taste and it was all just noodles and oil without any spices. The quantities are pretty good and you get boiled rice with the manchurian. The staffs was nice and kind and the perp time was pretty short too.
