New Cane Grove Family Restaurant

First time getting a takeout here, read reviews before coming in and was hoping for a good experience. Came in around 21:00, place was empty except for two gentlemen discussing the facts of life while watching CP24 and sipping on a beer. By the way, the score 3 for atmosphere is for overall decor, not the two fellas talking :). After 10 minutes of waiting for my order of spicy chicken and a steamed rice on the side, I left to eat my food. What can I say, it was delicious, big portion, hot sauce on the side. Very happy I came in. Gonna order again for sure.

The food was mediocre but they had huge servings. The one thing that pissed me off was when requesting "not spicy please" to please not make it spicy. Even a person who can handle heat thought the dish was extremely spicy to a point that u think the cook is being sarcastic. If your hungry and on a budget then it'll do but otherwise look elsewhere to avoid disappointment

It s really just for take out so enjoy all the delicious Guyanese Chinese food.. staff was great too and selection is good. No long waits and u can ask for some dishes to me made without msg.

I absolutely love coming here for food I go there mostly every weekend for the lunch special but kind of disappointed because I found a peice hair and I think some sort of peice of rubber band? I'm not completely sure what it was but I'm just a little disappointed because that is not something youd like to see in your food. I still love this place and take the chance still to continue to get the lunch special but please do better!!

Awesome awesome awesome… we were close by for the pet expo we came from out of town and saw this place on Google and wow was I happy we did. The food was one of the best I’ve ever had the fusion was just amazing. I will definitely be returning to this place again when I’m in Toronto and I recommend this place to everyone 😊

A hidden gem in Mississauga I came across by accident. The restaurant had an offer on Skip the Dishes for free delivery over $30, a late night special. I checked out the reviews and decided to give them a try. Being a Guyanese girl myself, our standards for authentic Guyanese Chinese food is very high. And we tend to already have our usual go to spots for these dishes. But boy was I surprised and in luck! Just opening the fried rice box and the smell alone, I knew that I was in for a huge treat! The special fried rice is served with crispy fried chicken on top. It was exceptional and the chicken was juicy and tender inside and very crispy on the outside. I also ordered the pepper wings. They were very well seasoned, spicy and extra crispy. I was shocked that both dishes were still piping hot and super crispy despite my home being almost 15 minutes away from the restaurant. I also ordered a few shrimp rolls, that were also very crispy and delicious! If you’re looking for the real deal authentic Guyanese Chinese food in Mississauga, definitely check them out! I’m so happy I found this spot and will be back!

Has the best GUYANESE CHINESE FOOD. Legit never would have thought this would be a great mix, but I was WRONG and I am telling everyone about this place! If you’re in Mississauga, this is the best spot.... 100% recommend it! SAVE & SHARE! Great value, generous portions. Dined in with some friends, food came out quickly, friendly staff. Everything we ordered was good, especially the fried rice with chicken. Great option for takeout in the neighborhood.
