We were in Scarborough after a very long time and came across Negril’s Jerk Hut. Since it’s Sunday and most Jerk restaurants are closed…this was the only restaurant close by and with decent reviews. Hands down the best jerk, coleslaw and rice and peas we have had since our trip to Jamaica. The food was fresh and flavourful. We also got their home made hot sauce on the side… AMAZING!! Highly recommend this place.

My goodness! This place has some of the best Jamaican food I have tried! The calallou was beyond amazing and the rice and peas were delicious! Jerk chicken was perfectly flavoured and savory. 10/10 definitely coming back.

Horrible dingy restaurant that serves stale overpriced food. The restaurant has no prices posted inside, you can't see most of the food like most Caribbean restaurants and everything was a dirt trap. What was the absolute worse, however, was the food. Bought stew beef, charged $15 for a snack sized portion ,didn't know the price til after I ordered. I have never paid so much for a tiny size before. The beef was salty and the rice was clearly stale and spoiled. It was beyond inedible, it was disgusting and we couldn't eat it. Never again.

Good service. Good portion. Good taste, just hope it could be a bit more spicy. Take out only. Has free parking in front of the store. Gonna try the Patties next time. Highly recommend! 17 bucks for large

Wonderful Carribean food, had the oxtail, the jerk chicken and the curried goat. All were delicious with nice portions. The owner has a wonderful personality and is a joy to chat and share a laugh with. The pics are after my wife and I had lunch. We are looking forward to leftovers for lunch again.

Absolutely mouthwateringly delicious, and the amazing friendly service that really makes this place and its food a true hidden gem! Writing this while I devour this plate on the TTC, it's THAT good! The gentleman who served me was a very friendly elderly man who I believe is the owner. He's so full of energy and joy to share the flavours of his home to you 😊! He even went out of the way to make a mixed plate of jerk and brown stew chicken for me because I couldn't decide. While I waited, he had another regular come in and when I asked him what he thought, he told me I definitely came to the right place; DEFINITELY ASK FOR GRAVY/SAUCE!! I think their patties are homemade too! 😋 Portions are big, price is definitely worth the quality and quantity you get! All served and made with love! Needless to say, I can't wait to be back and bring friends! Thank you so much my dude who served me today!! You're awesome!

Came across this place fiending for carribean food; having been to 2 that were closed on sunday. Boy was I not disappointed. The goat was phenomenal, just so tender and the gravy just soaked up all that goat flavor. Omg. Had a side of fried kingfisher...which was perfection. You need to eat here. Clean plate club.
