Nantha Caters (Warden & Finch)

Great place for grab n go. Mostly South Indian cuisine , they also got some pastas, noodles. The staffs are fast in helping out. The main course dishes are good. Be careful in buying the snacks as some of them might have been cold already. They have really good deal on dosa and idly and also on string hoppers.

Normally I visit this place during the weekends. The service used to be good. I visited this place today afternoon. Some of the staff were not good. I was standing in the queue. The staff ignored me and attended the person behind me. I was annoyed. But I didn't say anything. Then another staff who took my order was rude. She didn't smile or say anything. She was insensitive and didn't respect me. I was upset because of this. When I ordered a vegetarian thali, she selected her own dishes, without asking my choice. Then when I questioned her, she responded positively. I asked her to be polite and provide better customer service. I expect better service and friendly behavior from the staff in the future.

I hired Nantha for my evening wedding, and I couldn't be happier with the results. They crafted an excellent menu that catered to both Tamil and non-Tamil guests, and I received no complaints from family or friends. While it wasn’t a fully traditional rice thali, the vegetarian options for dinner were outstanding. They arrived on time, arranged for traditional silverware, and provided attentive service. Highly recommended!

Last night I went to Nantha caters.while the biryani itself was very tasty, the service left a lot to be desired. Instead of a leg piece, I was served a different cut of chicken with some gravy, which was actually a pleasant surprise— it added a nice flavor to the meal. However, the server’s attitude was far from pleasant. She seemed irritated as she served, using the spoon like she was searching for the smallest possible piece of chicken to give me. It made the experience uncomfortable, as if she wasn’t happy with what she was offering, despite the food being good. A little warmth and hospitality would have made a huge difference. I hope the catering service improves their staff’s approach, as good food deserves to be served with a smile.

The queue is so much always. It's minimum 10-15 minutes waiting. It's not that people are too much there but there method of serving and taking order is so much outdated. Even if you call them for order they say it's available in person you need to wait in queue which is so much garbage. They really needs to improve this.

First, the girl who helped me out was incredibly kind and patient! When she was scooping the butter chicken, she was making sure to get the most chicken possible, and I already knew this place was good. I got all of this for the solid price of $12 which is crazy in this economy. I thought they would’ve raised the price for the samosas but no?! It’s 2 for $1 which is an insanely good deal!!! I never would’ve thought a restaurant in a mall would be this worth it. Definitely worth coming here for a quick cheap delicious meal!!!

If you are an Indian and in Toronto looking for an authentic indian fast food chain, then this is the place to be. It is alongside the Bridlewood Mall in Scarborough. From samosas to the spring rolls, you'll get everything. There are a lot of options for the sweets as well. It is only take away and they take cash as well. There is a lot of parking space too. I'd suggest at least stop by once for those samosas.

I go here often to buy their spring rolls and samosas but they do offer a wide variety of food other than that. I find that they have more selections in the morning or during the day than coming in at night, since they close late. They have hot meals as well from biryani, to curries. They even have desserts and bread. They used to be located in the plaza where the Eggsmart is, but they now moved to Bridlewood Mall (Finch/Warden). They have a separate entrance. Given that the plaza is big, there's always a spot of parking. And you can also check on other stores of the mall if you want too. The employees here are nice and helpful. The place is clean.
