$50 for bones. Not only that, the portion sizes were pathetic. The whole experience was underwhelming...so not impressed.

I recently ordered the Okra Soup with Poundo Yam from Naija Jollof Restaurant through Uber Eats, driven by my daughter’s insistence due to its popularity on Instagram. Unfortunately, the experience was a major disappointment. For $28 plus taxes, I expected a satisfying portion, but what I received was quite small. The meat was undercooked and excessively spicy, making it nearly inedible. The Poundo Yam was also in very limited quantity for an additional $5, which felt unjustified. In the end, we had to garbage the entire meal away, which was incredibly frustrating. I was really looking forward to enjoying this dish, but it completely missed the mark. Based on this experience, I will be avoiding Naija Jollof Restaurant and this particular dish in the future. I’m truly disappointed and won’t be ordering from them again.

My first time in restaurant visit over the weekend was good, the food was fresh and had good flavour so I decided to order on Tuesday through Uber eats. I order the same exact food which was jollof rice and chicken stew. The food I received through Uber eats was not good at all. The jollof rice didn’t taste fresh and the chicken portion size changed from 3 pieces on Sunday to one on 1 piece on Tuesday In addition, the Uber eats order around was $28 tax included which was way more than in the restaurant. I hope that the owners rectify this issue

We were extremely disappointed on the staleness of the food. We walked in around 6:30 pm this evening and was welcome by a very pleasant young man. He didn't really know much about the different type of food and wasn't able to answer our questions. The food did look like it was sitting in the warmers since early AM. Our fault for risking it. We have had African food before, but at catered events. We ordered the rice Jollof with chicken and the server suggested we get the sauce (he didn't know what it was called but said it was a bit spicy), however it was over the top spicy. Since he dumped it over the entire dish, I couldn't really eat any of it. The chicken was oddly hard and tough, so I am questioning if it was actually chicken. We also ordered a soup with mashed yam and a pop. We were quite surprised when the bill came to $60. This is pretty much stale mall/cafeteria food, being sold at mid-end restaurant price. We were very disappointed, They are better African resturants, that severs freshly made to order food. To date, worst African food experience.

Naija Jollof in Brampton is an absolute gem! The flavours and hospitality made us feel like we were getting a true taste of Nigerian culture. The staff went above and beyond by making fresh fried plantain just for us, and it was incredible—crispy, sweet, and the perfect side to our meal. The jollof rice was packed with flavour, and every dish had its own unique, delicious twist. The welcoming atmosphere and attentive service made the experience even more memorable. We will be visiting again and highly recommend Naija Jollof to anyone looking for a fantastic dining experience!

On the night of June 26, 2024, I traveled a short distance from my home to this restaurant. Usually, I would travel to downtown Brampton or to Malton via Mississauga for an African dish. So, I'm very pleased that the hours of operation are very wide. At my arrival, I opened the door and walked in. A male associate warmly greeted me. I told him that I needed some help - a large tray of jollof rice for an upcoming wedding. Without hesitation, he went to the back to pass the message to the chefs. He informed me that it would take a while; but, I was determined to wait. Wisdom: I ordered the Wednesday special meal - meat with Jollof rice and a drink. After waiting a long time, the level of patience had lowered. I appreciate that a chef apologized for the delay. After +60 minutes, my large tray was ready. As a gift, the team gave a medium size of meat for my patience. Review: I traveled to MacTier, ON. The distance is two hours away from my home. I delivered the food and many persons, including the new groom and bride, enjoyed the food. Great service! 👏🏽👏🏽👏🏽👏🏽👏🏽 Highly recommended spot for everyone! 🇳🇬

I recently visited the Naija Jollof outlet in Brampton, excited to have some Nigerian cuisine. The restaurant itself was pleasant, with a nice ambiance, and the staff were friendly and attentive. The option to dine in or take out added convenience to the overall experience. However, my anticipation for the signature dish, jollof rice, was met with disappointment. The jollof was not jollofing. The flavor and texture fell short of expectations, leaving me underwhelmed. On a brighter note, Naija Jollof redeemed itself with other dishes on the menu. They offer a variety of Nigerian cuisine, and some dishes turned out to be quite enjoyable. In summary, while the main attraction, jollof rice, missed the mark, the overall experience at Naija Jollof in Brampton was salvaged by the welcoming atmosphere, friendly staff, and the redeeming quality of other dishes on the menu.

So disappointed. Terrible value. Cannot recommend at all. No menu posted. Man behind counter just says tell me what you want. See pictures… $47. First plate: Two chicken drumsticks, a few pieces of beef, rice, small spoon of spinach. Second plate: three pieces of tripe, rice. 3 fried bread. Rice is very tasty but beef is dry, chicken is dry. Our Nigerian friend enjoyed the tripe.
