NAAN KABOB

BIG DISAPPOINTMENT. We used to come here every 2 weeks from Richmond Hill. The food quality, taste, portion and the management were amazing. Specifically I used to recommend this location to all my friends. But this last 2 times we were very disappointed and for sure we won’t come back here. I always order Chabli kebab and my partner lamb shank. Chabli used to be mild but now it’s too crazy spicy and it’s impossible to eat also the portions decreased and it’s noticeable. The salad wasn’t fresh and it was totally rotten as you can see it in the pictures. When we spoke to the manager here over his name was Mirlo or Mirla and he start right away to argue with us and ignore us and his answer was the salad is fresh and I’ll report about spicy Chabli to the head office. Unacceptable customer service from this gentleman. Later on we spoke to the kitchen manager and he was super nice and corporative and understandable. And he apologized several times about the behaviour of the main manager while he was right there and didn’t want to apologize for his behaviour.

Have dined at the restaurant a couple of times. Place is well done , bright and clean. Staff are friendly and professional helping with choices if needed. Got take out on this occasion and the food did not disappoint- chicken Kofta kebab dinners were delicious, well portioned and prepared right along with chicken Korma dinner !

The food here is incredibly tasty. Got the mantu, a very unique taste, the beef filling and the lentils do go well together. For platter got the NK grill. Both the classic and tandoori chicken tasted great, the shami kabob was very juicy. Only reason am reducing the star is for the service. The server cleared our plates while we were eating and didn’t have the courtesy to ask. We were sitting for a reasonable amount of time, the place was empty, not sure why they were in a hurry to clear our table.

Food was great, absolutely delicious and original. I will go there for the food again, for sure! But I was not really satisfied with service and atmosphere. We asked the waiter to warm up the food (which shouldn't be cold at the first place) then it 5ook her so much time that the food was cold again. She even didn't know the name of the dishes she was bringing to our table.

This was a great surprise. Visiting Toronto I really wanted to try Afghan food anon my last night we settled in this place. No regrets! I will be going back when I return. I would love to see more vegetarian options on the menu then.

I just passed this restaurant and it was open late during Thanksgiving on Monday so I decided to try it out. The food was excellent despite it being a holiday. The lamb and rice was amazing. The meat just fell off the bone because it was so tender and juicy. The ice was delicious but I felt like they were missing maybe a yogurt sauce for it. The dumpling appetizer was delicious also. Generally, the portions were great, especially for the price. I definitely could not eat it all and had to box the leftovers. The lighting was really bright and it also felt like a cafeteria because they make you pay upfront when you order and then they bring out the food but otherwise, everything was pretty good for this place. The staff was very friendly though. They asked to make sure we enjoyed the food. I would definitely recommend it.

Outstanding food and service! Eating here was a pleasure! My son and I came for lunch. Look at the menu at a table and order/pay at the counter, but food is served. I don’t remember the exact names but he had the beef wrap and I had the lamb shank. I highly recommend the lamb shank. Both meals were absolutely delicious and the price was excellent. The upstairs is decorated really cool and the light scent of fragrance in the air was a nice touch. The restroom is upstairs too and is very clean.

We stopped in on a Saturday during our visit with a party of 12. We ordered the NK Mix and two Kabob Lover platters to share. Unfortunately, the top floor (tea room) was closed, so they joined tables on the first floor to seat us. I wish we had been seated upstairs, as it’s much nicer. We had to place our order at the register, and the cashier added a tip before handing me the tablet for payment. I'm not sure why a tip was added since we had to get up to ask for water, plates, and to pack our leftovers. Despite this, the food was amazing and worth the visit.
