Amazing soup and amazing kimchi. You can't go wrong with their big dumpling.

I have eaten here before a few years back. Today my party of 5 decided to try their dishes. The service is classic efficient and quick. The place itself is kind of small. So expect to wait for a table if it is busy. The MD dumplings were flavourful and piping hot. They were enjoyed by all. The seafood pancake was expertly cooked but I have had better at many other places. My cold noodles is made to the Korean classic recipes … the taste is consistent. This fish tastes the same just like the first time that I tried this dish for my first time in University back in the 1990s in another city. Like I said, this dish is consistent wherever I go. The noodle soup is another classic dish with the flavour profiles and textures to match. The fresh home made kimchi side dish is delicious 🤤. All in all my party was happy and satisfied with the food and service. The shabu shabu is popular here because many of the diners today were ordering it. This is another local business run by hard working owners. Their dedication to classic Korean dishes deserves our support. Happy eats everyone 😎

It was the most similar taste to Myeongdong Kalguksu in Korea that I've eaten in Canada. I sent my mom to the airport today and stopped by to eat a bowl of Kalguksu, and the service and taste were wonderful. The kimchi was so delicious, and even though I went earlier than the store opened, they welcomed us warmly and told me to wait inside. I strongly recomend the bossam and handmade dumblings. I will try shabu shabu for sure.

We ordered mandu and bossam for the table and each person ordered their own soup dish. Overall no complaints, one of the better Korean restaurants in Mississauga. Great portion sizes as well. We were stuffed. The bossam is kept hot as they put it on a portable stove which was a nice touch and isn’t always done at other places. Only improvement would be to have more attentive service as we were only offered tea for our cups once. However if you flag them down they are quick to bring you what you need. Overall paid ~$150 before tips.

Starting off with the food, we were slightly disappointed. The bossam set was really good and the pork belly with the sauces were delicious. I do wish they gave more vegetables to eat with it. We were only given 2 pieces of lettuce and 2 pieces of napa cabbage to eat as a wrap. The spicy seafood soup was okay, it was actually spicy which was a pleasant surprise! Sometimes restaurants don’t make it really spicy but I was glad this was. I feel like the menu photo was a bit misleading because it looked like there would be a lot of seafood in the bowl but there wasn’t really. There was 1 mussel. 2 shrimps and small pieces of squid. The noodles were amazing though! Like seriously the best texture and it was amazing with the broth. The MD mandu was the biggest disappointment because we were the most excited for it. Both my partner and I found the texture of the filling to be a bit off. Yes the portions were huge and it was cooked perfectly juicy, but something about the meat filling was mushy and texture felt like it was raw but it 100% cooked - not raw at all it was cooked so we were confused! I did like how the kimchi came in a big jar and was self-served because I love having kimchi with every bite. Now the service…we came before the dinner rush and even then the service was very short and blunt. But that is typical of these types of establishments. But I did see the table next to us who were Korean were receiving really friendly service and the server kept checking on them to make sure they were satisfied…lol…It started to get really busy so we were trying to pack our leftovers and pay our bill but none of the servers were paying attention to us haha eventually we got their attention and they quickly rushed us out. It was the dinner rush so I won’t penalize them that much but still. I feel like the service could have been better and more fair (if you know what I mean).

The pork dumplings were good. It’s not very busy for Friday night dinner. We also had bibimbap and beef bone soup. The soup was good too. Highly recommended.

Came here for early dinner on a week day and we were the only ones at the time. The service was great the staff were very kind, but I did find the restaurant a bit cold (although the day was especially cold itself outside). As for the food, we ordered spicy rice cakes, kalguksu, and gyoza and they were delicious! The rice cakes taste like what I had elsewhere so nothing notable but the gyoza and the kalguksu were delicious and decently portioned 🤤 also their kimchi is one of the best I ever had!!

This small, quaint restaurant tucked in an out-of-the-way plaza serves some good Korean food. There were 6 of us and we ordered a variety of dishes; a couple of Bibimbaps with beef ($16.99), Ddukboki ($16.99), Bossam Set Meal ($23.99), Bulgogi Set Meal ($21.99) and Spicy Seafood Noodle ($18.99). I had the Bossam Set Meal. Even though the steamed pork was not as succulent as I thought it would be (just slightly dry) all the ingredients, ssamjang, cabbage, radish salad, and kimchi put together in a nice bundle made for a tasty bite. The set meal was good size portion. The set included a bowl of rice and Kalgusku which I could barely touch since I was so full. The broth was comforting and the home-made noodles were pretty good. Everyone else enjoyed their meals except one person who wasn’t happy with their Bibimbap and called it bland when compared to one they had at another Korean restaurant. I’m disappointed that no one else wanted to try the dumplings but knowing how huge they were it wasn’t something I would order just for myself. Everyone else couldn’t handle spicy foods so the kitchen accommodated for this as well as other requests. The servers were attentive. There was plenty of parking.
