Went for a quick bite. One of the tastiest Apple pie tried in toronto. Coffee needs a bit improvement.

Follow @bredgyeats for more food pics! Speaking of budget, Mystic Muffin offers delicious, home-style meals that don't break the bank and are equally satisfying to munch on. Big portions of a lettuce salad, topped with chickpeas, tahini, hummus, garlic sauce and crispy falafels.

I recently tried their tuna salad and freshly made cake, both of which were excellent! The cake was especially delicious. The service was outstanding—friendly and very helpful. However, I was disappointed with the coffee; it lacked flavor and tasted more like hot water. Overall, it was a good experience, but the coffee could use improvement.

i loved the falafel wrap! the texture of the crispy falafel and the sauce (i want to know what is in it! but it’s probably mystic sauce) and lettuce and tomatoes taken all together is so GOOD. the apple cake slice was quite sweet which is expected and i especially love the caramelized top. i also got a banana bread with blueberry.

Mystic Muffin is a local legend for a reason. It's fast, cheap, and damn good. They offer a wide selection of bagel sandwiches, "sandwiches" (pita wrap with your choice of filling), baked goods, and drinks. My friend and I ordered a variety of things to share, and every item was super fresh and tasty. Portions are extremely fair given the affordable price. Would recommend the ham + cheese + egg bagel and the chicken salad sandwich. I regret that we didn't order the apple cake - I will definitely try it next time!

The apple cake is as good as they brag and the staff efficient and chirpy. Also the croissants are the best I've had out of France, super buttery. Will visit again if I'm in town again.

I always assumed this place was sketchy. It’s actually a Toronto gem! The owner is a charming character. Great food. Softest bagels. Shockingly affordable, like 90’s prices cheap. It’s a clean and chill place to snack. I’m just sad that I didn’t try it sooner. I can’t wait to try their other goodies.

This place is truly a hidden gem. I got a toasted bagel with egg and cheese and a medium coffee for only $6. That's unheard of these days. The appearance of the restaurant might deter some people, but if you give it a try, you'll love it. The ingredients used were incredibly fresh, and the bagel with egg and cheese is probably the best you will ever taste. The coffee was excellent too. The service is very friendly, making you feel comfortable and welcome. P.S. Apple Cake is a must-try.
