I'm grateful for an exotic takeout meal but disappointed with the feature pad thai. A box full of noodles with a very little bit of chicken and tofu and two shrimp. Very disappointing. The burnt smell which filled my car is still lingering on my tastebuds. Not worth 25$

Bad and good. Bad: This is a photo of the Singapore noodles which were extremely salty and greasy. It was inedible. Good: But the Tom Yum soup with noodles was very delicious! I wish I only got the soup. The Singapore noodles was a waste of money.

My Thai in Ancaster is one of my favorite restaurants! The food is always fresh, flavourful, and consistently amazing. Highly recommend for delicious Thai cuisine!

Ordered the chicken and shrimp pad thai, with a side of rice and spring rolls that were forgotten. Pad Thai noodles were basically oil noodles. No flavour at all just oily, I got 2 pieces of shrimp in my noodles, which is confusing to me because it said shrimp and chicken. The rice was as fresh as spring water. The worst and most disgusting Pad thai I've ever eaten in my honest opinion. Waste of time and money. I wouldn't even give this place a second chance because of the disappointed the food was. Straight in the TRASH!!

The lady who was serving the food was rude and racist. We brought the food for our six years son who cannot eat anything from that place. She said to us outside food is not allowed. I can understand that it may not be allowed in some restaurant to bring outside food. Respecting that we took the food outside the restaurant immediately. However, the table next to us was celebrating birthday party with cake from outside. As our experience was not pleasant, we did not offer any tip. The lady was literally asking us why we did not tip. Tip is not mandatory in any restaurant in Canada. If tip is mandatory then mention it before you start taking the order. We did not tip because of your racist, double standard behaviour. If serving non-white people hurt your ego, then mention it in the front door of MY THAI. There are many other restaurant, we can go to dine in. Please do not hurt the feelings of couple who bring their young kid to spend a nice evening.

We have eaten here a number of times for lunch and it's consistently delicious. The staff are attentive and the food arrives quickly. They have very reasonably priced lunch specials and this time we got the Pad Thai and Singapore Rice Noodles - both so tasty and flavourful. I also love their Sweet Soy Noodles.

I have always wanted to try this Thai restaurant, and tonight I was able to. I ordered Sweet soy noodles with chicken, spicy. I also ordered 4fresh spring rolls and asked if they could do shrimp. They said yes for an additional $4.00. I said I would get one order please. I got an ice tea to go. The total was just over $40. The fresh spring rolls were so terrible. I have made better ones myself with my limited knowledge of Thai cooking. There was one maybe 2 shrimp in the whole thing and they were falling apart it was messy, and difficult to eat. I don’t recommend them. Not worth the price. The peanut sauce was thick. Like crunchy peanut butter. I didn’t care for the texture or crunchy peanuts crushed into it. That’s just my personal preference. It did taste like peanut sauce it was just different. The Pad SeeEw, or sweet soy noodles were ok. The flavour profile was good. It was a little dry, the chicken was dry too. Not enough sauce. I got a big chunk of green pepper a random cauliflower piece in my dish. It seems sloppy and hurried. It was ready in 15 minutes. I would be willing to wait and be happy with some amazing Thai food. Disappointing is an understatement. If I spend $40 on one person and pick it up myself it should be topnotch. I would give this restaurant 6 stars if I could. The owner herself reached out to my immediately and asked if I would try it again. She was so kind and appreciated my comments. I picked up the exact same order tonight and it was 5 stars. The peanut sauce is no longer stored in colder climates so it stays creamy. The rolls were perfectly wrapped and filled with shrimp. I do take into consideration that everyone can have an off day. Thank you to everyone at My Thai in Ancaster. Amazing staff and hospitality.
