It is a small littel cozy place, serving really good food! Their Minced beef mutabak is so good, exactly like my mom’s minced beef paratha frim my childhood…..really pairs well with chatni they gave…..i will be going back soon to try more items from their menu….staff is really nice too.

Great spot. Love their decor with such unconventional seating. Tried their chai Karak. It was perfect! Also tried the mutabak beef and chicken and both with cheese. They charge $2 extra for each mutabak for cheese but to be honest you don’t taste much of cheese. So I’d say better not to add cheese. Rather just go for the mutabak in cheese flavour than adding to your beef or chicken mutabak. The taste was delicious and you’ll have to be patient and wait because all their mutabaks are made to order. It’s worth the wait! Will definitely return and try out more items from their menu!

The food is really good. Prices aren’t that good (Expensive for the portions you get ). Environment and the seating are uncomfortable and unwelcoming. I recommend you order for to go to eat in your car or home. I would visit again but for take away.

Mutabak Karak delivers authentic Middle Eastern flavors with their classic Shabati and Mutabak and rich Adani tea. While dine-in space is limited, the friendly service and delicious food make it worth a visit for a quick, flavorful meal.

Authentic taste of Yemen! We ordered the minced beef and cheese mutabak and it was delicious, the portion was very generous. The iced Karak with salted caramel was incredible, I ordered it twice because it was so good. Ambiance is great and owner is very friendly. Highly recommend this place!

Yemeni cuisine, in a hip, fun setting. Welcoming friendly staff. We tried Karak tea which was great. Minced beef & cheese Mutabak was good but stuffing was on the light side. We also tried the chapati roll, which was kind of empty and disappointing.

Mutabak Karak is truly a gem in North America! We were warmly welcomed by Amana, whose passion and dedication to providing authentic Arabian hospitality made our visit extra special. Her genuine care and love for what she does truly shines through in her service. It's incredible to think this is the *only* place in all of North America serving mutabak, a traditional Yemeni street food that draws patrons from across Canada and even the USA! People drive hours just to experience the rich flavors, and now we understand why. The menu is a delightful journey through the Arabian peninsula, Indian subcontinent, and Southeast Asia, offering a range of traditional dishes you would typically need a plane ticket to enjoy! We were thrilled to finally try the famous Chapati with Chips Oman—something we've always associated with the Arabian peninsula. No need for an overseas flight this time! Here's our rundown of what we ordered: - **Chapati Chips Oman (4/5)**: The flavor was delicious, though we wished there was more filling. Having only tried it on paratha before, we noticed the chapati's thicker texture called for a heartier amount of filling to balance it out. - **Chapati Halva & Feta (3/5)**: While it was generously filled, we personally preferred the Chips Oman combo. - **Date Bread Pudding Pistachio (3.5/5)**: Visually stunning, but not entirely to our taste. - **Mutabak Honey & Cream with Banana (4/5)**: Light, tasty, and a perfect dessert after our meal! - **Arabic Coffee (5/5)**: Absolutely divine! A must-try. The decor was spot on—rich Khaleeji influences, with the comforting scent of oud in the air, making us feel like we were far from Canada. Traditional music played as we waited for our order, and the little buzzers were a nice modern touch to keep things smooth and efficient. The space was well-lit, open late, and above all, exuded the warmth of true Arabian hospitality. The only thing we were slightly surprised by was the pricing, which felt a bit higher than we expected for street bites. While the authenticity and quality are undeniable, it's something to keep in mind. However, considering this is a unique experience where you can enjoy these traditional bites—the prices might reflect the rarity and care put into the offerings. We can’t wait to visit again! ♥️🤍🖤

Went into order a Beef Mutabak with cheese & a Karak chai. I had to wait a bit since it is made fresh. I think they made an error on slicing the Mutabak & the chef(?) apologized and offered a refund or asked if he could make a fresh one. Honestly I didn’t see a problem with it at all. He was truly apologetic & offered free drinks. It was truly nice to see the effort they put in so the customer is satisfied. The Mutabak tasted great & chai was tasty ans usual. Overall a positive experience.
