MSSM Ossington is the second chapter from renowned Michelin Star Chef Masaki Saito to introduce his Edomae style of sushi to a wider, more accessible audience in Toronto. MSSM Ossington was born from that realization and at the heart of its offering is a unique $98 Omakase menu crafted with fresh local, European and Japanese ingredients, employing the same Edomae techniques that brought Chef Saito to prominence, all while being complemented by sake pairings hand selected by Saito-San. MSSM Ossington is centred on establishing a more casual, lively environment with access to the same high-quality craftsmanship.

We have had many omakases before and MSSM did not disappoint! Our chef did a great job coursing, and the fish was fresh and tasted great. Portions were generous! We added two additional orders for the uni sushi - they were sizeable and a mouthful. Will definitely return. Highly recommend!

We came here for my birthday celebration. They were so nice and gave me a little gift. What a nice surprise! First time testing Omakase, I've watched many videos about this, so nothing was surprising. The food was good. It makes you really taste each sushi and the fish. The service was great. Our chef could be a bit louder.

MSSM Ossington with Sushi Chef Ken provided an unforgettable dining experience. His captivating storytelling about the fish and its quality was both engaging and enlightening, adding a unique touch to the evening. The food was exceptional, and the atmosphere perfectly complemented the entire experience. I would definitely return, especially to relive the remarkable moments with Sushi Chef Ken. Highly recommended!

Came here yesterday to celebrate our anniversary and we loved it! It was our first time tryi bc omakase and we were truly mesmerized by everything. Our chef was very kind and explained everything, he was a bit shy but we thought he did a great job handling everything. The waiters was always on top of everything, cleared our dishes quickly and constantly filled our water. We loved the whole menu and ending up ordered an 2 extra orders of Bonoto sushi. They also have a seasonal menu that you can try after the set menu they serve you. It is $100 per person as a base for the set menu. Then you can add on whatever you like at the end. Would definitely come again!

If you’re looking to get transported to Japan, come to MS | SM!!!!! My goodness, What an incredible 8 course dinner!!!!! My partner and I have been wanting to check out the Yorkville location for some time, but once I heard they opened a spot on Ossington we decided to walk on over. Beautiful ambiance, warmly greeted by all staff and chefs. Presentation of each dish was spectacular, but I have to say watching the chef was that much more magical! Everything was handled with such precision and attentiveness. It was art watching him put each dish together. And the dishes themselves - so unbelievable fresh and flavorful. Each bite better than the last!!! A taste of Japan worth every penny. Thank you for an amazing experience!! We will be back!

I took my wife here for our anniversary, and to simply put it, the restaurant is second to none. Chef Jon was very professional and entertaining. The quality of food is amazing and the atmosphere was very cool. This is officially our new favorite omakase spot.

The sushi omakase here was unbelievable, great taste, high quality fish and value. Really enjoyed the unique take to the menu and Chef Jon who was interactive and engaging. Highly recommend.

Had the most amazing sushi experience! Thanks to Chef Jon! Seriously, every piece was a flavor explosion - fresh, creative, and beautifully presented. Chef Jon clearly knows their stuff and puts so much love into each roll. The vibe of the place was super chill too, perfect for a laid-back sushi night with friends. Definitely coming back for more!
