Fantastic experience here with my wife and a friend. We took our friend for dinner there and couldn’t have been happier. The food and service was excellent. It was wonderful to find a lovely traditional style restaurant that didn’t have TV screens everywhere. We had appetisers and mains and the price per head was also reasonable. Highly recommend and will be going back at the earliest opportunity.

Out for dinner with the Playfair's at Mrs. Mitchell's. Collectively we are so impressed with the romantic and peaceful atmosphere. The service was first class! Chrissy and Sarah went above and beyond! The food amazing! Great experience all around! Thank you!

Named after the last teacher in this former schoolhouse, Mrs. Mitchell's has been family owned for43 years. The operation is silky smooth and the experience delightful. If the weather is fair, choose a table in the garden.

A gem worth a trip to Violet Hill. We have always enjoyed an amazing meal here. The atmosphere is warm & cozy inside. They have an outdoor patio to try when weather permits. There is live music on occasion which is terrific - but be prepared to reserve early on those days. We didn’t take a pic of the Brie app - it was very good as well.

Professional, polite, fabulous! I can't say enough good things about this place! From reservations to paying the bill, everything was absolutely amazing. Taken for my birthday dinner for the first time. We ordered the baked brie for an appetizer, Veal, Salmon and Pork tendrloin for main dishes.

If you're planning to dine at Mrs Mitchell's restaurant for brunch on a Sunday, it's highly recommended to make reservations beforehand, as the seating is limited and tends to get pretty full. The service is quick and courteous, ensuring that you have an enjoyable dining experience. As soon as we were seated, we were pleasantly surprised when the waiter served us with some delectable scones and mini muffins, even before we had ordered any food. To complement our meal, we decided to try their famous mimosas. My wife had the orange classic mimosa, which was freshly squeezed and absolutely delicious, while I opted for the mango mimosa, which was equally impressive. Moving on to the mains, my wife ordered the Filet of Sole, which was cooked to perfection and had a generous serving size. I opted for the highly recommended Reuben sandwich, which turned out to be a delight for my taste buds. The meat was of exceptional quality, and the sandwich was both tasty and filling. The restaurant itself has a very quaint and cozy ambiance, making it an excellent fine dining option. It's located about an hour's drive north of Brampton, but there's ample parking space available near the restaurant. Overall, Mrs Mitchell's restaurant is highly recommended for anyone who enjoys quality food, great service, and a lovely dining experience.
