We ordered 3 cevapi and 1 kg of burek. We were told to wait 10-15 minutes as the burek was in the oven, and we were given a device to notify us when the order was ready. However, after 25 minutes with no update, I approached the counter to ask about our order. The staff then brought the 3 cevapi but informed us the burek was sold out. This is unacceptable management and poor customer service. We traveled all the way from Newmarket to enjoy a nice Sunday with my family, only to have the experience ruined. Very disappointed and will not be returning. Thank you.

Nice place to enjoy Bosnian food. Staff is friendly. Try the Turkish coffee with cheese burek. You will love it.

Whenever I crave Balkan food I come here. Mrakovic has a good variety of hot takeout food as well as fresh meat and frozen food. It also has lots of Balkan groceries and everything you need to make Turkish coffee.

This was legitimately some of the best food i’ve had. I had the cevapi/sausage mix plate and they were the juiciest peaches of meat i’ve ever had. i also tried the veal stew they had in the front and it was amazing. the meat was cooked to perfect and the potatoes were so rich with the flavour of the meat. they need to open a location out in vancouver asap!

I started ordering from here during COVID 2020.. it was amazing every time, but they didn't offer meat or meat/potato burek at that time, frozen and delivered. Today, I went into the store/small take-out and sit down restaurant/ deli. It's located in a residential neighborhood. Super clean and friendly environment. The wait is a bit long for hot food, but it's well worth it the wait! The chevapi is wonderful and fresh! The burek is fresh and also tasty - they have all kids- meat and meat potato are our favorites ! 😍 I stick up with their frozen foods as well; I usually buy their 60 pack of chevapi and Ljepna and Kymck! They also have chicken patè and MORE Eastern European foods and goodies. They have all kinds of Ajvar as well! It's a MUST visit and try!
