I feel like it's time they hire someone Jamaican to work here. There's nothing authentic about this place. The chicken tends to be left over and its rock hard. Insult to Jamaican cuisine. All for $.

Authentic jerk. The lady that works there is usually very pleasant. Food is decent. It’s strictly takeout. Not much of an atmosphere - it’s nestled between a convenience store and a bubble tea spot at Peanut plaza. Iykyk. But decent jerk chicken, beef patty etc!

This is the original Mr. Jerk in its original location as far back as I can remember. The alternate restaurant that was closest to me and my colleagues used to be located at Kennedy and Hwy#7. The food here is great. I usually order a main dish with an extra meat side just to have two different jerk meats to try at the same time and with rice and peas and coleslaw. The staff here is down to earth, friendly, and we naturally get into some random topic and end up with a few good laughs as well. Keep in mind the place and strip Plaza is small and can get busy at lunchtime . The restaurant is also narrow, and the restaurant is designed for pick-up orders only. (I would rate it overall as a 4.5 but can't do a half star for some reason)

I came here for the lunch special which starts from open to 3pm for 8.79. You can either go with jerk chicken or pork on rice peas and side cole slaw with a bottle of water. For the price and the quality it's a 5/5. The Jamaican missy that works here is amazing, she's friendly and jolly 5/5. I enjoy both the jerk pork and jerk chicken. My style is jerk chicken rice peas with curry goat gravy. It's my go to fire 🔥. Also they have have lunch jerk pork or chicken sandwiches for under 8 bucks. Other Jamaican restaurant should take noticed, I will be coming back anytime I'm around and hungry.

Stew chicken is extra dry, and came with no gravy. Rice and peas were dry and lacked flavour. Overall one of the worst Carribean spots I’ve ever had.

First time trying out the Caribbean food at this tiny stall. Only 2 people allowed in at a time due to self distancing. Curry Chicken Roti was massive... filled with lots of chucks of tender chicken. I would have enjoyed it even more if it were a bit more spicier. The Jerk Chicken with peas and rice was also very tasty. Generous portions of rice and chicken and enjoyed the Cole slaw that came with it on the side. There is no place to sit and eat here. So it’s takeout only. The food is well priced and very tasty here. I would definitely go back for more.
