My Son works at Cdn Tire. Waiting for him after work I notice large crowds waiting for Mr. Guss. In addition I notice customers just drive and park to order Mr. Guss. But the reason I am writing this review or feedback is the male gentleman inside Mr. Guss is a true gentleman. He is always smiling and happy . He ensures that his customers all have great experience! One windy day when the carts were flying around he came out to ensure that the carts were gathered . His action ensured no customers or cars were injured or damaged. But the main reason I am writing this today my Son was working outside with the heat over 35 degrees Celsius and gentleman at Mr. Guss gave a my son a bottle of water! Wow.! This is person who cares and someone that recommend! Thank you Mr. Guss !

Lost a star. Google says closed at 8pm so I went at 6:30 and it was closed. Disappointed because we were very excited but the Canadian tire worker said they close at 6. Please correct your hours on google!

This is my go to when bouncing around doing errands during the weekend. The glizzys are on point always cooked to perfection. The operator Jim is what gives the atmosphere such high marks the man is a legend. Keep up the good work ...

Jimmy is excellent his food, service and dedication is top notch. I have been coming to Guss, Jimmy and Tony for two decades watched them grow through it all. Consistently delicious and kind. Thanks guys!

It was my first time at Mr. Gus Meat and Potato, and I was still figuring out what to order. Initially, I asked for a hotdog but then noticed they had sausages on the menu. When I politely inquired about switching to a sausage instead, the man, who appeared to be the owner, responded abruptly, telling me to 'make up my mind' in a harsh tone. He seemed annoyed, sitting back while his wife managed everything. Feeling uncomfortable, I ended up choosing a plain sausage without any toppings. While the food was decent, the unfriendly service left a lot to be desired He was rude while his wife was kind.

I went to the food truck over 2 weeks (May 24th 2023) ago and ordered fries and chicken tenders. As we bit into the chicken tender, it was completely raw in the center. (Not all the pieces were raw). We went back and the woman there told us she couldn't issue me a refund, but offered to give us something else. At that point, I was completely turned off and didn't want anything. I wanted to speak to the owner and she said would forward my number on to her. I'm still waiting to hear back from anyone at this food truck. She was supposed to get back to me within 2 days. Strong statement but I'll never go back. Not only did my son and I bite into the raw chicken tender, but the fact that there was no follow up, is a huge disappointment.

Good looking food truck / trailer design. Caught my eye (although not my camera), I was more worried about eating than snapping the trailer. But the trailer design is what caught my eye with well designed graphics and descriptive menu wording written on it (although not all wording is true - read the bottom). It’s a 3.9 rating because it’s good. I had the spicy Italian dog. Outside of Canadian Tire is where I saw it, but I guess it could roam the heartland area (outdoor shopping complexes). The toppings were simple: ketchup, mustard, relish, onions, hot peppers, chilli flakes, mayo. Maybe 1-2 more. But I didn’t see olives, or diced tomatoes. The sausage was dressed for me by the operator (maybe a winter thing or health thing). The man running it was nice, good demeanour for service and didn’t rush or pressure me. The sausage meat was good. Bun was good. For a parking lot snack if you’re hungry, try it out. There are no potatoes (fries, wedges, etc).. which threw me off from the name. Stop in and hear the story why they only sell sausage and dogs. Not my best photos, but that’s how they looked. You can only put so much makeup on a pig. Maybe I’ll add relish for green next time.
