Mr Dumpling

Very rude, belittling behaviour and disgusting food. Walked in placed my order and the lady at the front gave me a dirtiest look like she didn’t want me there. After I placed my order she had brought everyone’s order that was takeout and when my order was finished she left my order on the counter basically implying for me to walk up and take my own food myself, very rude again. Milton overall has some of the most disrespectful people in its city I won’t ever walk in this establishment ever again.

Made an online takout order for chicken with cashew nut and fried noodles, which has always been delicious from this spot. When I arrived to pick it up, the person working at the counter had given my order to the previous customer. No problem, honest mistake. While the employee and someone who I assume to be the manager were figuring out the situation, the previous customer returned and brought back my order. What made me uncomfortable was the fact that instead of offering to remake my order fresh (as I had no idea how long my order had been outside the store, or whether it had been opened), the employees simply placed the returned order in a new bag and had me pay. I did not feel comfortable asking for a fresh order with the other customer still standing there. I would have been happy to wait for a new order and pay the full price as I understand that these mistakes happen, however I am disappointed that this wasn't offered. I will still come back to this spot as the food and service has always been great prior to my experience today.

They have upped their game. My Cantonese chow main comb has more sauce making it not dry adding more shrimp would make it perfection. Chicken balls quality has also gotten a lot better Singapore noodles are too spicy for my indian husband.

Unfortunately very underwhelming ; I worked at a Chinese restaurant for 2 years and this is disappointing. It seems like you just fried my food and then proceeded to dump store bought can full of Szechuan sauce. My food is swimming in it. Sad 😞 just tastes like spicy tomato sauce. Even more disappointing is that this dish is the chef favourite. I somehow don’t believe it. Unfortunately will not be recommending this establishment.

I've been eating here for 8 years now. I love this place. However, today, I am disappointed. There is nothing wrong with the food, but today's service really upset me. I ordered party trays (my order was >$200) and I was told over the phone that if I paid with cash I would get 10% off. So I went out of my way (it already took me 30 minutes to drive there) to drive to a bank and take out cash. But when I walked in to pay for my order, I was told I could not get the 10% because my order did not meet the requirements. I had no issue paying for the food (I get points on my card and I love their menu), it's the fact that I received new information from your store and I went out of my way to take out cash, only to look stupid when I got there and was denied. Tell your staff the proper requirements because I feel cheated. Again, love the food, just not a great experience today.

It's always great to discover new restaurants and Mr Dumpling was a good find. Has just finished a shoot in Milton and went to the local Tim Hortons for a tea and soup. They were out of everything but Tea and Coffee. Strange. This is around 7 pm. So decided to drink some soup at Mr Dumplings opposite and so happy we did. The soup Hot and Sour soup, and the Wanton Soup were great. Just right. With some fried noodles thrown in. Good service, not pricey at all, good service and a nice clean place. The other dumplings seemed interesting but we were there just for soup. I'm going to find another Mr Dumpling and try out their other dishes. Please give this a try. You won't regret it.

I’ve been ordering from Mr. Dumpling since 2019 and I’ve notice the prices have almost doubled and the food quality has declined significantly. It’s been a while since I’ve ordered, so today I ordered what I always get and was shocked when I open it. I ordered chicken wings, noodles, and honey garlic spareribs. The wings say it comes with 10 pieces but only came with 8, and the “honey garlic” spareribs had no honey garlic sauce in it, looks like they watered it down or just boiled ribs in garlic water. I’ve ordered this plenty of times before and it’s never come like this (see pic). Seems like they’re robbing the community that supports them.
