Came here for the second time. The food was very good and the service was also great. Tried the Beijing duck for the first time and it was surprisingly good. Jason served us very well. Will come again in the future.

Nice, this branch has the best service of the 3, Yonge, Kennedy, Warden. The staff were all very kind and courteous, even though it's out of the way for me, I enjoyed dining here; and today I made it just in time for their Afternoon Tea Specials, after my Happy Valley Maintenance Hike. Oh, bonus is no HST starting this weekend.😃

It was my very first time at Mr Congee and phoned ordered 2 dishes of takeout just by looking at their menu online and calling out their menu number, like K6, M16. Not sure how recently the restaurant was opened, but the sparkling look of the restaurant is evident from the moment I walk in. Polished floors gleam underfoot, while tables and chairs are well maintained, with visually appealing setting. The walls themselves are adorned with tasteful decor that complements the restaurant’s vibe. The lighting creates a seamless environment that feels bright yet soothing. I arrived 15 mins later and service was relatively fast, as we waited not long with a lineup of customers picking up their order. One of the order was Chef Special Fried Rice with Scallops, Shrimps, BBQ Pork and preserved sausages. The serving was plentiful, nicely garnished with a delicious flavour, with the right amount of salt. The other order, Stir Fried Beef with Mushroom was equally delicious and not greasy at all. Food was at par with my expectations of the Congee family of restaurants. I did not expect to have a welcoming smile and I did not have any (this accounted for the 1 star loss), but still behaved professionally in a rush. Plenty of free parking and they take credit cards.

We had a mid-afternoon gathering of about 24 people and they were able to accommodate us by seating us at two tables; 12 persons per table. The food came out fast. All the dishes we ordered were on point and delicious. The staff was friendly and helpful especially during the time that we were deciding what to order. The restaurant was clean with plenty of seating. The washroom was very clean also. Furthermore, I was pleasantly surprised how reasonably priced it was. I highly recommend this restaurant especially for large groups.

⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️ On Saturday, November 16, 2024 I dined at Mr. Congee in Markham, ON, and I must say, it was an exceptional experience from start to finish! The service was superb—prompt and professional, making us feel welcomed and well taken care of throughout our meal. The food was absolutely delicious! Each dish was well-seasoned and bursting with flavor, served hot and beautifully displayed. It was evident that the chefs take pride in their culinary creations. A special shout-out to the manager, Sita, who was incredibly accommodating regarding our food allergies. She took the time to understand our needs and offered fantastic suggestions that truly enhanced our dining experience. Overall, the ambiance was delightful, making it the perfect setting to enjoy such amazing food. I highly recommend Mr. Congee to anyone looking for a remarkable dining experience!

Thanksgiving Holiday 2024,my family wants to eat lobster. So this restaurant is my choice. The garlic lobster taste is very good.I ordered 6 lbs and I paid 320$ for everything. After that, they will give you red bean dessert and melon. If you eat dinner same like me,you have to book appointment, you will not wait.

Mr. Congee was a restaurant that we had been curious to visit as an alternative closer than our favourite congee chain. It was quite packed when we visited and took a bit of wait to be seated on a Friday evening. The flavors were indeed decently comparable for the sizzling dishes, BBQ meat and congee. We were less impressed by the sautéed shrimp. However we weren’t impressed by the cleanliness of the tablecloth that swiped our table and the slight smell as we dined. Prices were comparable to other congee chains so we won’t be back anytime soon.

My cousin was in town from Hong Kong for a visit and this resto was close by so us and some extended family came for a thursday night dinner (we got the private side room). There's plenty of parking as the resto is standalone and has a dedicated lot. Price-wise this place is pretty good. They are probably on the affordable compared to their York region counterparts so you might find good value eating here. I do think quality-wise it still kinda lacks something. The peking duck we ordered was one of the smallest ducks I think I've ever witnessed. The duck slices were tiny and had me wondering if we just got the runt of the litter. The duck lettuce wraps that are supposed to utilize the remainder of the duck carcass meat also came with a very small portion of duck meat. They gave us a ton of crepes for the peking duck (ironically it was paper thin and one of the best wraps in recent memory) and also a ton of lettuce for the duck meat wraps. The curry crab was pretty tasty I'll admit. It's not gonna beat curry crab at like Saigon Star but it's way cheaper and the taste was very solid. I do appreciate that for the beifongtang lobster prep they give you the fried fishies at the bottom of the plate instead of fries (which Lobster Port and Fishman do now). Pumpkin sago wasn't very good. Wayyy too much starch used. The consistency was really gloopy and if you hadn't told me it was pumpkin I would NOT have known as there wasn't even the faintest taste of pumpkin imo. My family usually comes here with the cousins from time to time for convenience. It's not our first choice for canto food in York region but it gets the job done for quick gatherings.
