I have order from mr.bigs multiple times and everytime I have order and requested for no gravy on my meal because they ALWAYS drown the rice with gravy . I have brought it to there attention MULTIPLE times and they don’t care to make the change today I have had enough because instead of correcting the error they hung up the phone and ignore calls. Do not go there if you want your rice to drown in gravy everytime.

Oh wow, just wow. Food was absolutely delicious. I would give 10/10 stars if I can. I ordered the oxtail with rice & coleslaw with fried chicken. Oxtail was so soft, rice is very soft and melts in your mouth. The fried chicken is very crispy and not too oily. As a Filipino, I would come here again!!! Thank you🙏

Wow - we stumbled onto this place while running an errand in this parking lot. This may be my favorite jerk chicken in the GTA!! Portions are big (this is the small size), the chicken is juicy and flavorful, and the oxtail gravy is delicious. The staff is also super sweet and friendly. We will be back!

Got the Large fried chicken meal with no coleslaw and extra gravy on the rice. Honestly have to say this place is the best Jamaican place in all of Mississauga. The Gravy was sweet and not too salty which made the rice tasted very good. The Fried Chicken was crispy and the meat was very moist/tender. The batter was very tasty and paired with the chicken and rice made for a brilliant combination of flavours. Very well done and fair pricing as well.

I have to say, I order here more than I would like to admit. Food is amazing and tasty, great price and the kind of service I like. You enter, place your order and get your food. No messing around. Their service here is great and I tip every time. I recommend their jerk chicken or fried chicken. I always alternative between the 2 or I order both because I am about that life. Good size portion and tastes fresh. I actually couldn't upload photos the first few times I had it here because I started eating before I realized I didn't take a photo. Will continue to return.

Mr. Big’s Restaurant is located in Mississauga and they specializes in Caribbean cuisine. This family owned business started in 2000 and they have a loyal following in Mississauga. First time visiting the restaurant. It's located in a busy plaza but there's parking available. The inside is geared towards takeout and delivery with only 4 small tables available to dine in. Your order is given to you on takeout containers whether you are staying to eat or taking it home. We ordered the Jerk Chicken and Curry Chicken dinners. The portion sizes were large and the meat tender. The sauce on the Curry was more on point as the Jerk sauce was a bit weak. Overall, this is a decent spot as you get a good meal based on prize and portion size.

2023-12-15_OMG!!! Went for the Jerk Pork dinner special for lunch again today. Did not forget to ask for oxtail gravy on the rice and peas. This place did not miss one beat. The pork was just as fall-apart and juicy and seasoned as the last time, if not better. The coleslaw was fresh and went so well with the rice and peas, with an oxtail gravy that was simply amazing. Might have to make a special trip for lunch during my holiday break from work. As always, Mr. Big's is a MUST!!!! 2023-11-30_Decided to try the Jerk Pork dinner for lunch. OMG!!!! I thought that their Jerk Chicken was amazing. However the Jerk Pork is on a whole different level. The pork was a combination of moist and dry pieces of pork with other fatty pieces. And the spice level was on point with the all-familiar jerk seasoning and a slight little kick. All this on top of rice and peas (this time I did ask for oxtail stew sauce on top of the rice) and tasty coleslaw. I will definitely be treating myself again to the Jerk Pork dinner. The whole meal was amazing. Always looking for a great Caribbean/Jamaican restaurant to get lunch and get my fix for jerk chicken and rice and peas. Came across reviews of Mr. Big's online and decided to get my lunch here. I ordered the large jerk chicken dinner combo (half chicken on a bed of rice and peas and side of fresh slaw) and a spicy beef patty. The chicken was very juicy and flavourful, with an amazing jerk seasoning flavour. It was literally pull apart in texture. The rice and peas was filling and tasty but just a tad dry. However that was my fault as I forgot to ask if they could spoon some of the stewing liquid from the oxtail stew on the rice. And the slaw was great, not soggy or dry but fresh and crisp. As for the beef patty....well...it was average tasting at best. Suffice it to say that it is becoming increasingly difficult to find a decent beef patty in the GTA these days. I would highly recommend coming to Mr. Big's for a great tasting meal. Looking forward to trying their Jerk Pork dinner next.
