Moxies Fairview Mall Restaurant

This place use to be good, you drop a little bit extra to get a good service and quality. Not anymore, I think everything I spent here today was waste of time and money. Stake was smaller than advertised, mashed potatoes and pasta was simple and no taste to it. Service!!!! She was trying but she did not had the right tools or right training.

Nachos were dry and only had measly tiny bits of “ground beef” all for $35 bucks. Pork back ribs tasted like rubber. Everything here is price gouging for these usual pub-fares you could get in ANY other restaurants. Nothing to write about. Giving two stars because servers were amazing - that is all.

We celebrated a birthday at Moxie’s and it was a great experience. We sat outdoors and ordered a lot of items. Our server was great and didn’t rush us at all. We shared some cocktails and nachos for starters and loved both. The Chicken Alfredo Pasta, and other pasta dishes that we ordered for our main course tasted good as well.

I come here every month with my friends to catch up on all of the drama in our lives, and I decided it was now time to write a review. One word to describe this location: AMAZING. The service is excellent, the food is delicious, and the atmosphere is fantastic. I frequently come here and order the burger with fries. It is consistently excellent. The patties are well cooked, the fries are crispy, well salted, and overall great. For an appetiser, I generally have the nachos, which are fantastic. The sour cream, salsa, and guacamole taste fresh, and the chips aren't mushy from all of the toppings, which I enjoy. Even if I'm full, I'll have the bite of brownie for dessert. It is an ideal-sized dessert and tastes great. The blondie brownie with ice cream, whipped cream, and chocolate sauce is really stunning. I will continue to return and appreciate this restaurant. My overall experience was great! Our server was amazing. The atmosphere was good as well! We got a seat in the lounge area, so we could watch the Leaf game while we were eating as well. We ordered a Caesar Salad, Nachos, and a fried calamari to share between 2 people. We also ordered 2 different mocktails. Every was good, except the calamari. It was warm (temperature), not hot when it got served. Also, the portion was a little on the smaller side. Overall, we had a good time on our visit.
