Moxies Beaver Creek Restaurant

Had happy hour at Moxies today, looking over my receipt now and noticed that we were double charged for our order of avocado dip. There’s a charge for a happy hour one and a regular one, this doesn’t make sense (note the time). Had to get the Bellini price fixed as they charged full instead of happy hour (we caught this one). We upgraded to truffle fries but were given regular fries with ketchup (also corrected). So many errors that we had to catch but we let this one slip by and ended up paying for an extra item that we didn’t even get. Customers make sure you double check your bill because this is ridiculous. Food was all right though.

We walked into this moxies in Markham after an event. A group of 9. We were greeted and seated right away. We all a variety of items on the menu that came fairly early. Everyone loved their food but the mashed potato and vegetables in one of the plates were cold. We let them know and they reaction is actually why I’m leaving them a 5 star review 1-Right away we were offered a new meal altogether but my friend was happy with the steak. So she got a new plate of hot veggies and mashed potato 2- The manager showed up at our table and made sure every other item was served as expected and apologized for the cold sides 3- The attitude of the lady serving our table didn’t change like I had experienced in some similar situations. She was friendly and attentive all night. 4- when we were done with our food, we received two big plates of dessert on the house. This was a very good gesture and left us all admiring their customer service. The food quality was otherwise very good and the restaurant offered a venue for us to have a chat and discuss and enjoy our meals.

I visited the Moxies Bar and Grill in Richmond Hill for a company Xmas dinner. Our group was seated in the heated and enclosed patio area. There were a team of dedicated servers helping our table. The server was knowledgeable with the wine list and provided her recommendations for white wine. I ended up ordering the Kim Crawford Sauvignon blanc. It was dry white wine with some fruity notes. I'm not a big wine drinker but I really enjoyed it. We had a set menu which included a small appetizer soup or caesar salad. I ordered the coconut chicken soup and it was a delight. The soup was definitely Thai influenced and the bamboo shoots, chicken and coconut was a perfect medley of ingredients. It was almost like a green curry. We also ordered beef nachos, crispy calamari and goat cheese and bread dip. All the appetizers were pretty good no complaints here. I ordered the Chipotle mango chicken based on my positive experience before. I must say the dish was really good but the one I had in Moxies Pickering was outstanding. The chicken lacked the deep grill charred marks and was not piping hot. Usually the plates are really hot when they are brought out. The plate was only warm to the touch. The bite of white chocolate brownie was decadent and was great finale for our meal. I ordered a cappuccino to cap off the meal. One critique would be the lack of refilling the waters on our table. The restaurant definitely had an attractive crowd and people were happy and enjoying their drinks and food. It was a little bit difficult to talk inside as the sound insulation in the patio was poor. Overall, the service was pretty attentive and friendly. I would recommend making a reservation if you are coming in a large group. Thank you Moxies for great evening.

The Moxies Beaver Creek Resturant is a wholesome establishment. The services and staff were outstanding, professional, and friendly. There are a few vegan options to choose from; the portion sizes are adequate, well presented, the ingredients were fresh, and of good quality. This establishment is highly recommended for vegetarian and vegan communities. Overall, it was a superb experience.

This location has been the best thus far. The atmosphere and vibe spoke luxury. The waitress was very friendly and nice and genuine personality, smile and attitude was very invited. Having a good waitress makes your meal even more enjoyable. The food was well prepared and serving size was worth the money. I highly recommend having the Mexican bulldog drink. It was filling!!!!! Richmond Hill you definitely will be seeing me again 😉

An upscale but relaxed and casual restaurant. I had the Chicken Alfredo for lunch and it was absolutely delicious: hot and creamy, with a generous portion and tasty garlic bread. Very modern decor. It's a lively place, which I found it a bit noisy but the food and service were terrific. My order arrived within a few minutes, but I arrived shortly before the lunch hour rush. (Note that as of May 2024, there was some construction out in front but it has not affected the restaurant itself.)

This Moxies is becoming our favourite go-to. Their New York is hands down much better than what we had at the Keg last week. Steak was so tender and cooked to perfection with the perfect flavour and seasoning. Well thought out appetizers and great flavours for all dishes. Drinks are creative and not overloaded with ice. Guac/salsa chips were super fresh and tasty. Love that you have a vegan section. Thank you! Staff are always friendly and attentive. We have never had a bad experience. Keep it up please! Great place for casual dinner or celebration 💜🙌
