Mount Sinai - True Mexican Taste

The birriar tacos are soooooo good!!! Meat was tender and fresh, all of them. Personally I’m not a big fan of steak tacos in general but my husband said it’s really good. The tostada was also delicious where the beans are mushed and shell is fried perfectly to soak up any sauce. Also the waitress is so nice, can’t believe she’s willing to help me practice my broke Spanish lol. Will definitely come back!

Great place to get some authentic tacos. Tacos were amazing, they accidentally forgot one of our orders but that was okay! They got out our order right away. Place is small for dine in but has a lot of snacks you can look at. Would definitely come back :)

We had an amazing meal at Mount Sinai True Mexican restaurant! It came highly recommended by our friend who has dined there many times and they did not disappoint! The service was fast and friendly and the food came out very quickly! We ordered the lamb birria and steak tacos with a guacamole and fresh tortilla chips to share. All of the dishes were fresh and flavorful and exploding with flavor. The three sauces were also delicious. Just when we thought the meal was over, our lovely server graciously presented us with three COMPLIMENTARY churros to finish our meal! This was a PERFECT dining experience and the first of many visits! We can't wait to go back! An easy five stars for one of the best authentic Mexican meals we have had in a long time. Additionally, the restaurant is beautifully decorated with Mexican decor and they also sell a number of snacks, treats and Mexican imported ingredients to enjoy and cook with at home! What a true gem in this foodie mall!

One of the best legit mexican food I have had in a while. The Taco's were loaded!!! The tamales was delicious. The service was very pleasant she was extremely nice and offer us some Churros on the house. Highly recommended and will be back for the Food. Prices was good for the amount you get.

My cousin was raving about this place and decided to take me out since I was gonna be in the West End on Tuesday. Of course I had to say yes since I was leaving the next day to go to LA and have more tacos. Very small restaurant/store - there was two tables of four and then two tables of two high seating. I did find that it got really cramped and hot when it was a little bit busy. No, as for the food flavours were good. I do believe the consume had a mixture of lamb and beef whereas I prefer beef. I don’t know if that’s something that can be separate. Otherwise, all the food had really nice flavors. The service is really nice. I definitely would recommend this place for a little hidden gym spot.

came here for our friends birthday and the food was so good!!!! i shared the beef birria tacos with my friend, it was super flavourful and so so filling. my friend loved her chicken taco too! our server was super kind she even surprised us with free churros for my friend’s birthday! she made the whole experience so easy, will definitely come again for food and service 10/10!

Really glad I visited this place. Authentic halal mexican food all you can enjoy. They have all sorts of Mexican staple items you could think of ranging from sauces to candies, everything. Tried the famous chicken mole which was decent served with plain rice, beans and tortillas wrapped in a cloth placed within a cute wooden box. Highly recommend trying birria tacos with broth and sauces, you will instantly love it. Ended the meal with mangonadas (mango popsickle) which was delicious tangy sweet treat. I also appreciate how all the cutlery was placed at every table which is how I feel it should be at every dining place. Staff is amazing, very helpful and explained their dishes really well. Even if it’s a small restaurant it is put together impressively. Worth visiting again do check it out if you’re around!

Mt Sinai has a small space and is packed during busy hours, with two 4 person tables and two bar tables that can seat 3 if you squeeze in. And that’s the only negative, the food, the staff are excellent. We had 5 kinds of tacos and ordered nachos. Although very delicious we weren’t able to finish so we took them home. The taste of the sauces, regular, hot and extra-hot, my favourite, were excellent. Truly a Mexican taste.
