BBQ pork is very tender, but too sweet. Smoked cod has special smoke taste, crispy outside and tender inside, but otherwise they are just fried fish. The king crab meat soup is tasty.

So badly wanted to love this new spot!! When you price your star dish at a premium, guests will come with high expectations. However, the Signature 42 day Apple Wood Roasted Peking Duck lacked flavour, slices were cut very thick, and wasn’t served hot nor crispy (shocking). I also felt at that price range, it should have been inclusive of the second course, which is often customary. We were sorely disappointed (and all big fans of Peking duck usually). All other dishes were good overall but the star of the show unfortunately fell flat, such a shame! I wouldn’t come back for the duck but I would for other dishes and just skip the duck entirely. Overall nice environment and service was friendly!

Our server, Ray, was very attentive and pleasant. The manager, Penny, was very nice as well. The Peking duck was delicious - crispy skin, lots of meat, thin pancake wrapper and sauce was tasty. Smoked cod is a ‘must’ order.

Mediocre spot for an acclaimed Chinese Restaurant. The food and service was below average and unfortunately did not meet my expectations. We had some standout dishes, but overall most dishes had lack or flavor, texture and seasoning. My favorite dish of the night was the Noodles, Duck Salad & Sautéed Green Beans. When you order the carb, pecking duck, short-ribs.. that says a lot. Poor quality meats and seafood selection that I would skip on if you come here. Service was below average. Our server Peony was more concerned about trying to overhear our conversations than trying to make us have a good one. Our whole table was uncomfortable majority of the time. If you’re thinking of coming here, I would pass. There is many great spots in Toronto, and unfortunately this one is below average.

Came here with the main purpose to try the toast Peking duck and it did not disappoint. Extremely tasty and so much meat! Came here on a date so we had an extreme amount of food but everything was super tasty! The service here is impeccable I found the servers extrmely personable and provided recommendations based on what your personal preferences were. We started with some drinks ordering the Hanami and the duck fat old fashioned. The Hanami came in a beautiful extra large glass which packed a lot of Asian inspired fragrances and flavours! I thought the duck fat old fashioned was interesting and alcohol forward if you enjoy these kinds of drinks this might be up your alley. I personally really enjoyed the stone pot lobster fried rice, it came with two claws and they made it very easy to eat by cracking the shell in an easy way. The ambience is classy but not over the top. It would make a good spot to take a client or have a date. On the pricier side for Asian food but it was tasty and did not let us down

Firs time dining at Mott 32 Toronto and from the moment I walked in, the ambiance was just captivating—modern yet infused with traditional Chinese elements. The service was impeccable; our server was attentive and knowledgeable, guiding us through the menu with great recommendations. We started with the signature Hot & Sour soup dumplings, and they were out of this world—perfectly balanced flavors and a delightful texture. For our main courses, we ordered the Peking Duck, which lived up to the hype. The presentation was stunning, and the taste was even better. Each bite was a perfect blend of melt in your mouth skin and tender meat. The accompanying pancakes and sauces elevated the dish even further. Overall, Mott 32 offers a unique dining experience that beautifully combines tradition and innovation. We simply can't wait to return and explore more of their menu. Highly recommend for anyone looking for a top-notch dining experience in Toronto!

Mott 32 in Toronto is nothing short of exceptional, bringing the elegance of modern Chinese cuisine with an emphasis on quality, authenticity, and innovation. From the moment you walk through the doors, you’re greeted with a blend of contemporary and traditional Asian decor, a luxurious atmosphere that sets the tone for the dining experience ahead. This is the 3rd Mott location I have been to and although all of them are amazing, the Toronto location service is beyond excellent. The menu is a standout, featuring an array of carefully curated dishes that showcase the best of Chinese culinary traditions with a modern twist. What truly elevated my dining experience at Mott 32 was the impeccable service. I want to give special recognition to three individuals who made the evening memorable. Kalani, Eric and Beck was an absolute delight, ensuring that our table was well looked after with attentiveness and care. They provided seamless service, guiding us through the drink pairings with expertise. In short, Mott 32 Toronto delivers on every front—culinary excellence, ambiance, and service. It’s a must-visit for anyone looking to experience a high-end Chinese dining experience in the heart of the city. Highly recommended!

Mott 32 is an upscale Chinese restaurant known for its Peking Duck, but I found it lacking in flavor and not quite elevated enough for the hype. However, the rest of the dishes were well-prepared and delicious. Overall, a mixed experience in a chic Chinese restaurant setting.
