I had a great experience at Moti Mahal! It’s a classic spot in Little India, offering some of the best street food around. I tried the Chana Bhatura, and it did not disappoint—the Bhatura was puffy and delicious, and the chana had just the right amount of spice. The service was what I expected from a self-serve street food place—simple and quick. At checkout, the process was smooth and fast. The place was busy with families and friends, but the atmosphere was welcoming, and the food was authentic and full of flavor. Highly recommend this spot if you’re craving Indian street food

Had there chole bhature the usual but this time it felt like the bhature was slightly thicker then usual but not bad. Overall the food was good. Also had there rasgulla which was pretty good definitely recommend.

Didn’t see the negative reviews until I checked it out. Had a different experience: Best street food style in little India. Tried the Chanaa Bhatura because I wanted to try the puffy Poori/Bhatura bread, lentil was spiced. No disappointment. Didn’t have high expectation of service since it’s self serve street food style. Now that I reflected back, upon cashier check out, it was quick and didn’t have steps to tip on bill.

The food was good. By far this was better than many Indian restaurants I have tried in different cities of Canada. I ordered a non-veg thali and chhole bhature. My kids enjoyed the chhole bhature and I like the dishes in the thali. They were well prepared. Tandoori roti was very soft, fresh and well cooked. Liked their pickle as well. The 4 star is because of the ambience. The place was little dirty. The arrangement of collecting dirty plates in the corner was definitely a put off. I would suggest they can make it more customer friendly by having a properly cleaned up place. Chairs were not very nice and comfortable. Overall a good place for food but not very nice to sit and enjoy food.

The food here is really tasty, no doubt why it's just busy and filled with people on weekends, I really like the chhole bhature, we also ordered dosa, Mango lassi, and the veg thali. The only concern I see is hygiene. The tables should be cleaned. The dishes should be cleared off quickly from the bins.

This was one of the most worst restaurants I visited in my life. We thought it will be great and may have delicious food. But it’s like the soup kitchen for the homeless. The food was very oily and not a tasty. The place is dirty as there is no service. We pay at the counter and when our number called to pick up from the counter. It’s a questionable how come the Department of Health hasn’t shut down this filthy and disgusting restaurant. The staff is not friendly at all. No one clear the table after customer left. Please stay away from this restaurant before you get sick.

This place needs to improve seriously. I remember visiting it in 2019 when their hygiene was a little better but now they might as well be making people sick. I got their chole bhature and started vomiting as soon as I got back home. I had severe stomachache for the next few days. Their kitchen has stale food and nobody in the staff has any hygiene manners. It’s never properly mopped and you can even smell an eerie stinky smell. Please please please take proper measures as people’s health is affected when you don’t. In the pictures, you can look at the amount of oil used in there. I didn’t even finish half of it and still got sick. Never going back unless they fix their hygiene.

A classic and historical spot on Gerrard, we had a great time at MotiMahal! Their food was delicious and authentic, bringing the taste of the street food and dishes to India right here. It was fairly busy when we were there with lots of groups of family and friends there. You can't go wrong with this place.
