Mother built a great aesthetic for the bar and visually everything was good. Loved that I could see into the kitchen from the back and the coziness of the space. I personally feel the space could have been even grander just because the entrance in makes it feel like that but, I cannot complain, there was live music the night I went. Just an excellent environment to enjoy food and drinks. Service was impeccable from the servers who gave me detailed explanations to my food to the bartender who made great recommendations for drinks based on my preference. The food was good, not the best I have ever had but good enough and that’s more than enough because the main star was the drinks. I had multiple different drinks all of which were expertly balanced and had character. I will definitely be coming back to enjoy other innovative drinks. Thank you to the team at Mother and the owner for crafting such a great experience!

Mother Cocktail bar is a lovely place that serves carefully crafted and well-made cocktails and food. It's perfect for a date night. I had an Affogato Express. We also had shared parmesan fries, koji beef short rib tartare, and Shio Kinhya picanha steak. I highly recommend the .. Picanha Steak was buttery soft and full of flavour and cooked to perfection.

Cocktails are quite creative and the appealing display doesn’t compromise it’s taste ! Highly recommend the Honey+! Snacks are just-so-so. Great ambience for a date night/ girls night out. MAKE RESERVATIONS!!!

After visiting hundreds of every style of bar in Toronto, I was prepared to not be that amused but the drinks at this place were unreal. If it wasn't a work night, I'd probably stay and try more things from the menu and I cannot wait to go back. The petrichor & the guava old fashioned with daishi were decadent, aromatic, light on feel but packed a beautiful punch.

My husband and I went here for a date night and I'm glad we did. The drink menu at this place is absolutely unreal... You cannot stop at just one drink. My husband and I tried drinks from various parts of the menu and we were never disappointed. We sat at the bar during our stay, and we had the pleasure of watching the bartenders make the drinks. You can tell they truly do respect the art and care about what they are giving to their customers! Their drinks are pricey but if you see how they are made and respect the skill put into it you'll understand why. We also had the truffle fries as a side for our drinks and they did not disappoint. The ambiance is lovely, it definitely has the perfect date night "vibe." I really do wish I remembered the bar tenders name, he was great. Took the time to learn our names and ensure we were happy throughout the entire time. I cannot wait to go back.

The cocktails here are tasty and are reasonably priced! Service here is top notch. A nice and intimate atmosphere. It definitely gets busy so making reservations is a must. My friend's drink even had the cutest and smallest flower ever. The attention to details in the cocktails are amazing. I'm definitely coming back! Cheers!! 🍸

Amazing experience at one of the best bars in Toronto. The attention to detail for every drink really impressed me. We also got some small dishes to share along with our drinks. We got the fries and the beef tartare. The beef was so fresh and the egg yolk really complimented the taste. It was well seasoned and the fried rice cracker really went well with the beef. Definitely make a reservation here as there is very limited seating. The bartenders are very skilled and friendly. The overall vibes are just sophisticated yet not over the top. Highly recommend.
