Wow what an incredible dining experience. Excellent food and drink menu. Everything had a unique spin and was very memorable. The service was amazing, as someone with dietary restrictions it’s really nice to see it being taken seriously and asked if I have one before I even have to say. I had the Sea Bass which was incredible. Perfectly cooked, such nice flavours and plating was very nice. Overall the bill wasn’t even that much considering the food and drinks we had. This place should be a must stop if you’re ever in the area!

Really enjoyed the food! Everything we had tasted great. I particularly loved the Brussels sprouts and the general tao bao! The tofu was also awesome.

I don't mean to repeat a previous review from another customer but I just have to say that we absolutely loved Mother Tongue! We were a party of 5 and we went in for dinner on Friday 22 November. We ordered several dishes and we all shared. Food, atmosphere, and the service were beyond amazing. I don't remember the names of all the dishes but I can only say that all of them were delicious. I do remember brussels sprouts, lobster tails, chow mein, chilli noodles... Attaching pictures. Also noteworthy: background music was pleasant but not too loud, so we were able to enjoy our conversation.

To celebrate my wife's upcoming birthday, we enjoyed a wonderful evening out withthe captivating musical "Come From Away". My wife was very impress with the show and said it one of the best musical she seen For dinner, we dined at the newly discovered restaurant 'Mother Tongue', where the ambiance was exceptional, the service was outstanding, and the cuisine was exquisite. Every dish ordered surpassed our expectations. Our selections included: General Tao Bun - highly recommended, Grilled Liempo Skewer, Duck Dumplings - highly recommended, Butterfish Kinilaw, Korean Beef Short Ribs, and Miso Sticky Toffee Pudding. We intend to return and sample additional menu offerings. I strongly recommend this establishment. If you enjoy my foodie reviews, add me on instagram at eatsomethingnewwithvictor :)

My husband and I had dinner here our first night in Toronto. This was a vary romantic restaurant. Many dishes you can share. We ate the braised beef short rib and the chicken bao buns. Everything was delicious. I appreciated the quality/detail in service as well. They asked if my husband had any allergies before we mentioned them. We will be back🥰

Every single item in the menu from the drinks to dessert was exceptional. The menu is based on classic Filipino cuisine and includes a kamayan feast, a traditional way of eating with your hands: feast experience! I would highly recommend this restaurant!

Decent taste. Recommend grilled liepo (pork belly) skew! Filipino style slaw has refreshing taste. Duck dumplings have unique texture, just melt in mouth, but a big heavy. Fish in curry is small portion. Taste is alright.
