I recently had the pleasure of dining at Morellina’s, and I can't recommend it highly enough! From the moment I walked in, the warm and welcoming atmosphere set the tone for an exceptional experience. Sandra was incredibly attentive and friendly, making sure every detail was taken care of. They were knowledgeable about the menu and offered fantastic recommendations. The food was nothing short of spectacular. Every dish was beautifully presented and bursting with flavor. I especially loved Manzo Divino, which was a perfect balance of taste and texture. It’s clear that the ingredients are fresh, and a lot of thought goes into crafting each item on the menu. To top it all off, the ambiance was perfect—whether you’re looking for a romantic evening, a casual meal with friends, or even a special celebration. Morellina’s is a true gem, and I can’t wait to return to try more of their amazing dishes. If you’re looking for an unforgettable dining experience, this is the place to go!

An intimate dining experience. A warm, inviting atmosphere that is comfortable. Sandra is passionate about food and loves to tell you about it. Vegetarian options were offered if needed. Our cocktails were delicious and we had an opportunity to customize them. We could have probably shared one starter instead of getting two. The portions are decent. Espresso was perfection (such a relief). We also shared the dessert. Reservations are a must. We booked about one month ahead for a Saturday evening.

We had a great time despite the rain on Friday night. My fav was the pistachio cream pillow shape dumplings. They even split it into two plates. How lovely. We also had the tiramisu (topped with dark chocolate pieces) oh every dish has different levels of cheese in it, so be aware if you’re lactose intolerant. Great for special occasions.

Pasta was perfection. The tomato sauce on the Calabrese lasagna hit all the notes. The rose crown pasta with ricotta was also a treat, and the vodka sauce had a very pleasant smokiness. You can taste the difference with the layers of flavours using high quality ingredients. And the dark chocolate lava cake was divine - don't skip dessert here, even if you're not typically a dessert person.

Absolutely amazing all around. Cannot recommend enough! Our pastas, cocktails, and dessert were delicious and beautifully presented. To top it off, the atmosphere was welcoming, warm, and beautiful. The owner was one of the sweetest people I’ve had the pleasure of meeting, and provided so much detail and passion in explaining the menu as well as providing recommendations. 11/10! A must try in Toronto :)

I found Morellina's while googling Italian restaurants in the city that could accommodate a group of 10-15 for a dinner party. I am so glad I found it! Sandra is an amazing host, she catered to any dietary restrictions or just desires the group had, and was a pleasure to work with to plan the evening. She made us all feel so welcome, and is clearly so knowledgeable and passionate about the food. The staff were all professional, the place is incredibly cosy and welcoming, atmosphere is amazing. And the food! Every dish we had was phenomenal, delicious and top quality. I will definitely come back here again, and tell all my friends about it!

I cannot give Morellina’s enough praise. They were able to work us in for a reservation on short notice, and provided one of the best meals I’ve ever had (and some of the best table service, too). The characters working the small restaurant make the delicious cuisine even better. While the prices are high, Morellina’s delivers on value. Of particular note were the mushroom lasagna, cheesy potatoes accompanying the beef main, and the lava cake dessert.
