Moon Pasta

Tried this place on a whim after we had a craving for Italian food and were not disappointed! The standouts are the sake rose (creamy, umami) and the bo kho bolognese (great pairing of Vietnamese beef with the tomato sauce). The duck breast green curry’s flavours worked well together, but I think it should have double the amount of meat for the dish. The orders didn’t take long to make, about 10-15 minutes from time of ordering from the touch display. Will likely be back when another craving hits!

I had high hopes for this Asian pasta spot, but my experience was a bit underwhelming. I ordered the shrimp pasta, which only came with 4 pieces of shrimp — pretty small portions considering the price. While the flavors were decent, it wasn’t as impressive as advertised. On the bright side, the service was excellent, and the staff were friendly and attentive. They do have some appealing daily offers, which is nice, but the portion sizes left me wanting more. Overall, an okay experience, but not sure I’d rush back.

Their pasta is perfection, the sake rose and butter gochujang flavours is totally something we’d recommend. Ever since eating here we are always craving for their food and are dying to try more of their menu. Unfortunately, they were sold out of their tiramisu but we will definitely try to get it next time. It must be really popular! It seems like it used to be an ice cream place, I think from what I remember they might still sell some ice cream. Did take out because we are close by but there are picnic tables outside/on the large side walk to eat on. There is some street parking as well.

Highly recommend the sake pasta. It tasted similar to my favourite vodka pasta. The portion size was good, the pasta was perfectly al dente. The green curry pasta was delicious as well but I preferred the tomato based sauce, it just went better with the rigatoni.

Such good and unique flavours! We got the butter gochujang and it was unexpectedly flavourful and filling, from the mushrooms to the seaweed, which enhanced the overall taste profile so subtly. The service was quick and very kind despite us coming in less than an hour before closing. Would definitely come here again to try their other asian-fusion dishes!

Love their Bò Kho Bolognese! I knew the combination was gonna work because I love bò kho. I also tried their Butter Gochuchang through Uber Eats and love that as well. I walked pass their store a few times during my afternoon walks; they don't have big or recognizable name board/signs so it maybe easy to miss them but they're next to Lamour and Maki Mart. I know they used to be Kekou Gelato and I haven't eaten their ice cream ever since they were located at Spadina/Queen. Looks like they're selling Kekou pints at this location so I'll probably get some for next visit.

A new place opened up near me so of course I had to check it out!! Both pastas were filling, Asian-inspired, and very well worth the price!! The mushrooms in the fettuccine was so juicy and cooked to perfection. The sauces for both were delicious too. Me and my roommate shared these and we had leftovers for the next day. Can’t wait to go back to try out the other two pastas. Also it’s in the same spot that kekou used to be but you can still get the ice cream there

More suited for takeaway for sure, though they have a couple of spots for people to sit and eat. The food here is definitely rich in flavour and pretty reasonably priced at $15. We tried the bolognaise and the butter gochujang pasta, and both were very tasty. Will definitely try the other dishes at some point!
