Interesting how this place became a pasta place instead of mainly a gelato shop. Wish you could still get scoops of ice cream instead of just pints now. The butter gochujang tasted good with the mushroom medley and bacon bits in there. The gochujang balanced the creaminess very well. The shrimp pasta supposedly was supposed to have yuzu flavour but I detected none at all. There is very limited high top searing in there. Everything was just alright, not my first pick to eat but not bad.

I love their ice cream here. I bought butter gochuchang yesterday and I was literally sitting in the toilet all day after eating it. I felt so sick. This is the first bad experience I had. I still feel sick after eating it. Maybe the sauce wasn’t fresh because I had this in the past and I didn’t feel sick

The butter gochuchang is delicious and definitely the must-try pasta item on the menu! The sake rose was a close second, while the bolognese was okay (it tasted just fine, but isn't as unique as the others). We've had kekou gelato over the years, so when we heard about the creation of Moon Pasta (which also serves the gelato), we were interested to try. The space is small, so it is mainly meant for takeout, and it takes about 15 minutes, which isn't bad at all, but best to call ahead if you're in a hurry.

Kekou Gelato turned into a pretty tasty pasta place. Nice for a quick bite. Pasta was nice. Ice cream pints are still available.

When Kekou became Moon Pasta in the Commerce Gate Plaza, my interest peaked. Not only do they still offer up their unique fusion-flavored gelatos, but they now also serve pasta! Pictured here, I went for their BUTTER GOCHUJANG, described as "fettucine, smoked bacon, shitake, and cremini" for $15. I was pleasantly surprised by the portion, which was good enough for 1.5 people or 2 if you're looking for a lighter meal. The pasta has such a strong umami flavor profile to it and the smoked bacon came through really nicely as well. The sauce itself was creamy and smooth, and I appreciate the amount given which made for saucy bites up until the end with some to spare. It had the perfect kick of heat to it which added to the depth of the dish without any feelings of suffering (HA!) I highly recommend this! They haven't changed any of their interior design since switching over from Kekou but they have added two small high tables with 2 seats each if you'd like to dine-in. I recommend the takeout though since the place is quite cramped and I feel like eating in would be a little awkward with the close proximity to the employers as well as other customers who come in to order, etc. Service was friendly but minimal, hence nothing much to comment about there. Do note that they are cashless!

I went because of all the hype and the reviews. It was super busy. The staff were friendly enough to allow me to sample multiple flavours, as most of them were foreign to me and it took me a bit to find one that i liked. I went with almond tofu in the end. I thought it was ok, but not anything that i would rave home about. Definitely a unique ice cream spot.

Interesting Asian fusion ice cream. Lots of choices to choose from. Place is kept very clean and minimalistic. Been wanting to try this place for a while, lineups are long at night. Banh flan , no. 1 on the list. Creamy and lots of flavors that pop! Cheesecake, good wasnt too sweet, good flavor. My girls loved it and would to try other flavors. 💕

This is a brand new Viet ice cream shop with intense flavours and excellent service. My husband and I ordered the Viet Coffee and black sesame ice creams. We had the option of getting sugar or waffle cones. We also ordered three pints of ice cream. The staff were kind enough to put it in a to-go cool pack. I thought the prices were reasonable as they ranged from $4.90 for a cup to $13 for a pint or $40 (tax inclusive) for three pints. We were shocked at how strong and flavourful the ice creams were. They offer limited seating. I love that they have metal tasting spoons, which is better for the environment. We also got excellent service from Maggie and Joshyll. I recommend visiting and will definitely be back!
