Monteiro Express Scarborough

Monteiro Express in Scarborough is a hidden gem! The food was absolutely delicious, with authentic flavors that took me right to Portugal. The portions were generous, and everything was cooked to perfection. The staff was friendly and welcoming, creating a warm and inviting atmosphere. I’ll definitely be coming back and would recommend Monteiro Express to anyone looking for quality Portuguese food in Scarborough!

We had the Poutine, Piri bowl, Monteiri sandwich, and the wings! All of the chicken we had was incredible my juicy and tasty. The peri peri flavour was perfect! Service was amazing & the food was served relatively quickly for all these dishes. If you’re in the mood to have some delicious Portuguese chicken, definitely stop by! Our top favourite was the chicken poutine. You won’t regret visiting Monteiro!

I recently tried Portuguese food for the first time in Canada at Monteiro Express, and it was delicious! The Piri Bowl was packed with flavor, and the spiciness was perfectly balanced. The portion size is very generous, and with everything priced at only $10, it’s incredibly affordable ! Plus, everything is halal, which is a huge bonus. If you’re looking to try authentic, delicious Portuguese food that’s affordable and satisfying, Monteiro Express is a must-visit!

An amazing spot serving up Portuguese-style chicken and dishes that hit the spot. Love that they have a $10 menu with plenty of incredible options like peri-peri bowls, poutine, and sandwiches, all of which are so tasty and delicious and the portion sizes are insane.

Ordered the chicken combo and it was delicious. The combo came with salad, rice and fries. It was served hot and fresh. The wings were juicy with the right amount of heat.

Overall value for money and good flavour on some of the dishes. We tried the full menu but would only recommend the Monteiro Poutine and the Piri Bowl which were yummy. Also the food is Halal so that's a plus. Would not order the chicken thigh bowl or the wings bowl as the chicken was overdone. Would not pay for guacamole it was gross. Few hiccups on the ordering process and payment (likely because they recently opened): 1)charged me for 2 Piri Piri poutines when I only ordered 1 2) when I looked at my email receipt to correct the issue, they didn't provide me an itemized copy by email so I couldn't see the pricing or what had been ordered. So I just accepted the error. 3) Don't know what anything cost because the $10 was only over the chicken bowl on the sign, wasnt displayed on the square POS, and wasn't on my bill. Assuming it was $10 each, but maybe that should be more obvious during the ordering process. 3) Service was good and the staff were nice, however, the cash tip I provided was put directly in the till instead of being set aside or recorded. So it made me wonder if it was going to employees.

First store in gta, Montreal special.Totally loved the food the vibe. Food was awesome we loved the bowl the monteiro special as well the wings were amazing. I would highly recommend this place is economical and budget friendly whole menu is $10 and under . So this is your sign to check them out
