Montana’s BBQ & Bar

Wife and I went for a nice date night, and we both ordered the Surf n Turf, medium rare on the sirloins. I had fries with mine, and she had the baked potato. The best part of the dish, was the lobster, they were perfectly cooked. The steaks however, again we asked for medium rare, were medium well. Past that medium point, they had lost their tenderness, and were quite dry. Normally we don't use steak sauce, as there is a desire to enjoy the full flavour of the beef. These steaks were cooked past of having flavour, and we had to use the steak sauce to give the beef some sort of moisture and taste. The wife also found her baked potato was cold inside, and hard as a rock, so it too was not able to be enjoyed. We had the offer to have the steaks returned and new ones made (and baked potato), however we were short on time, so we had to do with what was served. As for the service, our waitress' name was Sabrina, and she was excellent. She was cheery, warm, and worked with an excellent demeanor, we made sure we tipped her well, and we knew she felt bad about the kitchen slipping on our orders. The atmosphere is warm and inviting, though some of the 'brighter lights' glaring into your eyes could be toned down a bit. It could have been just an off night for the kitchen staff, and I am willing to try Montana's again, possibly on one of their rib nights and see if there is an improvement.

Great ambiance and vibe... Food is great too... Oven baked Antojitos are must try... I wish their cocktails have little higher alcohol content. But still great place.

Upon occasional visits for the honkin beef back rib, my favorite menu item, I consistently find the service prompt and the atmosphere inviting. The establishment offers ample free parking and accessibility for disabled individuals. It is both kid-friendly and provides vegetarian options, catering to a diverse clientele. Overall, I highly recommend this place for a satisfying dining experience.

First time in Toronto and I just needed something good to get me through the first night. Well, this was above and beyond expectations. Living in Texas has let me experience some amazing BBQ and I’m impressed with the quality of what I tasted here. The great food and the incredible service provided by Lethija, was phenomenal. Thank you! Highly recommended!

I had an incredible dining experience at this Montana’s! I ordered the beer-battered cod, and the dish was fantastic – perfectly crispy on the outside with tender, flavorful fish inside, paired with fresh veggies that complemented the meal beautifully. But what truly made the evening special was our server, Latija. She was amazing, constantly refilling our drinks without us even asking and always going above and beyond to ensure we had everything we needed. Her warm and attentive service made the meal even better. Highly recommend!

First time trying all you can eat ribs. The Chipotle Honey is my favorite flavour but they are all good. They just kept the ribs coming! Normally some places purposely delay the times between serving ribs but not here. We had fajitas and salads as well. Everyone was a pleasure and the food was top notch 🙏🏽

Updated after visit on 7 Sep- You have excellent servers and today we had Jatin serving us, fabulous. Always with a smile and quick with the check ins. You people deliver on the Ribs ( Yummmmm) and the Antojitos were amazing. So gooey and comforting. ----- The Ribfest is Terrific !! Visited the Montana restaurant today for the first time and was quickly shown to our seats by the cheerful host. Service - Our server was ZACH.. Absolutely a delightful guy. He was so polite and quick with the order all with a happy disposition. Even when he was delayed for a drink order, he profusely apologised. Where do you see such behaviour nowadays?? One of the best servers ever. Ambience - The ambiance truly reminds of the Steak houses of Mid west USA. Very cozy and comfortable seating with lots of television around. They have a great booth seating arrangement and ample amount of space. Food - Delicious! Ordered the Wings and Rib combo . Ribs had the Honey garlic sauce, extremely tasty. The wings were with a hot sauce and yummy. The best part was the sides were delicious too - Well seasoned fries, soft cornbread. This may have been my first time but I would come back for the ribs and the Iced tea.

We had a great experience at Montana’s! The service was quick and friendly, food was pretty good. One of us ordered a burger and the other ordered steak. We have the full experience and got mixed drinks as well, both were very good! We got dessert; cheesecake and the triple chocolate cake. Both desserts were to die for!
