I just ordered from UberEats for the first time at this location today and got the holiday party tray. Got 3 different dragon rolls, 5 salmon sushi, 5 tuna sushi, 5 eels, 5 shrimps, 4 torched sushi. So far tried each one but the tuna sushi was really off and fishy. I couldn't get myself to eat another tuna because of the taste. The rest were fine but there is something off with the tuna for sure. I have ordered a few times from Monkey Sushi at the North York location and never had issues. A bit disappointed on Christmas.

I'm super sad to have to write this review, especially since I sent an email a few weeks ago and never received a response. I’ve ordered a Poke Bowl three times on Uber Eats over the past few months—twice from the downtown location and once from the High Park location, hoping to change my bad luck. Unfortunately, the issues persisted. The third time, it came with raw onions instead of green onions (which has happened before). The second time, there was a thick black hair within the rice which completely ruined my appetite. And the last time, the cream cheese portion was way off—0.6 oz in one dish and 0.5 oz in the other, instead of the advertised 2 oz. Uber did nothing to address these issues. Why did I weigh the cream cheese? Because the downtown location usually sends multiple squares, but this time, I received just one piece that didn’t seem to add up to 2 oz. These repeated mistakes and lack of response are very disappointing. I don’t want to risk receiving another incorrect or incomplete order and having to pay for it. I hope to hear back, as I really enjoy this poke bowls, but the lack of consistency is preventing me from ordering again.

Sushi is good, fish is fresh. But why do you guys pack your takeout orders without ginger and wasabi? Weird practice … should this be explicitly asked for?

New spot replacing what use to be Kiri sushi. Great first night. Interior has had a nice refresh to match the brand of Monkey Sushi from other locations. Food was good. Everything that need to be hot, was hot. Cold stuff was cold as needed. Prices seemed very doable considering other options in the area. My crazy good Hot Torched Miami Roll was $13 and was very big. Should mention all my rolls were tight and made well. Great start and I am sure they will do well.
