Monaghan's Sports Pub & Grill

We like to come here to play pool. Good service. Had Nachos once with guac and double cheese. Guac had no salt or lime in it, it was just avocado, tomato and onion so we really weren’t fans. $3 for a tiny container with bland taste, no thanks. The double cheese… non existent?? For $6 too?? There was literally nothing. Scared to know what the regular cheese looks like. Someone else said something similar about the nachos being bland. There was also a lack of vegetables. And especially for their price, it was $36 total. Such a scam. Won’t order again.

Came here for nachos with friends and WOW... $35 for the worst nachos I've ever had. The toppings weren’t even on the chips—most had fallen off onto the plate, leaving dry, bland chips behind. To make it worse, there was barely any chicken. Terrible quality and completely overpriced. Honestly, I would have enjoyed a bag of Doritos more. Save your money! Great service though and amazing bartender.

Enjoyed the bar as a whole. Banks of tvs showed NFL games as well as NHL game. I wish that one side of the bar showed football and the other side showed hockey. Friend enjoyed the Potato skins, I had the Nachos. For $27, I expected more for the money. Lots of chips in centre of plate, not many toppings but 4 pots of salsa, sour cream, guacamole and queso dip. Could have put the toppings on and in amongst the chips, topped with cheese and baked.

Jacob is an amazing waiter. We had a table of 14 people and he remembered every person by name. Got all our orders perfect. If you go and can get Jacob, I would 100% recommend. Made the experience for everyone amazing

My mother and I went to eat lunch and have a few drinks this afternoon and wanted to write about how excellent food and service was. The portion amounts were great. The bartender Shella was friendly…attentive and on top of service. We recommend this pub to everyone. We will be returning for sure.

This place is great, the food is amazing, the atmosphere, but specially if you have the fortune to be there when Sheila is on duty, you will be back again and again ! Best place in Oakville

Monaghan's sports pub and grill in Oakville has good ambience. It's located opposite to Sheridan college. Service is fast and they have a good selection of draught beer. Food is good. I had ordered chicken wings and they were good ( not excellent). Has pool tables as well. Good place to hangout but little expensive and they don't have happy hours.
