I am so disappointed to be writing this review but something needs to be done in their kitchen. I found not one, but two wrinkly long black facial hairs in my bulgogi yesterday. First time going to this restaurant and it’s really a shame because the food tastes excellent otherwise. But someone in their kitchen is refusing to net their long facial hair (or maybe shortish kinky head hair) while prepping food and it’s honestly disgusting. Disgusting! Get your kitchen standards up to snuff or bylaw will end you. I guarantee it. Won’t be back.

I walked in to order pork bone soup as I normally have in the past and usually takes less than 10 minutes since it’s premade. The lady took my money and asked me to sit in the waiting area. After 10 min I started wondering if the bag near the cash register was mine and have been staring at it while Uber pick ups came and went. 25 min after ordering the lady that took my order asked me what I was waiting around for. I said I’m waiting for my food that i ordered. She grabbed the bag from the counter that I have been staring at and I commented that it’s been there for a long time. She quickly responded that it came out about 5 minutes which I knew was a lie and let her know I’ve been staring at it for at least 15 minutes. Without so much as an apology she turned away and started helping other customers and ignored me. I went back to the counter and asked for a fresh one which I was provided. However I don’t think I’ll bring my business back based on the lie and attitude of that staff member. I’ll have to get my pork one soup elsewhere from now on.

We discovered Mom's Kitchen Korean Cuisine a few months ago and have been regulars ever since. Delicious food, good portion size and reasonably priced. Our favourites are pork bone soup, pork soon tofu, beef hot stone rice bowl, seafood pancake, japchae, and let's not forget the fried chicken. The ladies who work there are friendly and attentive. Mom's Kitchen has quickly become our favourite dining spot.

A friend suggested stopping by here. Good food. The japche and fried chicken were yummy. I enjoyed the sides too. Service was weird but ok. We sat waiting for a while before someone came by and when they did she was quite passive and didn't seem to care about what we were asking in the menu and our order. We got our food fine, ate and left. Nice clean place. I can see why it would be a good place for take out for locals. Nice place ish, but I wouldn't come back.

Ordered takeout for the first time. I ordered the chicken cutlet with rice. It was roughly around $13.99 excluding tax. It was good. Very generous amount of rice. I wish they provided more sauce for the katsu as well as side dishes. However when you dine in, they do provide side dishes. Overall, it was worth the try.

The fried chicken here is nothing short of spectacular. Each piece is impeccably crispy on the outside, boasting a perfectly golden-brown hue that promises a delightful crunch with every bite. The chicken is tender and juicy, bursting with flavors. Equally impressive is the cold buckwheat soup noodle. Traditionally a refreshing palate cleanser, this version uses pickled radish slices instead of pear, adding a unique twist that diverges from the classic preparation. The noodles are silky and light, providing a perfect contrast to the robust flavors of the fried chicken. While the cool, delicate broth is invigorating, the pickled radish brings a tangy, slightly sweet note, but I personally prefer the subtle sweetness of pear.

Love this place! We have ordered takeout here, but this time decided to go in. Fast service and great food. The best Korean we have had. We loved the beef and rice, kimchi fries, spicy rice cakes, and the fried chicken tenders with honey garlic was our favourite. Can’t wait to go back.

It was our first time trying out this place out of our love for Korean food. It has small seating space, Overall food was ok, do not recommend the Korean fried chicken as it was very oily, didn’t look fresh and had no flavours at all. Drinking glass and side bowls needs upgrade. Overall Service was ok, didn’t like how we had to wait to ask our server for the payment as the server was either busy chatting or eating food at the counter.
