First time trying momos. The waiter was really nice and answered any questions I had. Everything I ordered was delicious and I will definitely come again to try other dishes.

Best Momo's I've ever had! The Jhol sauce gave me nostalgia, very homely and familiar taste (garlic, sesame oil /seeds and a really rich flavor, reminded me of andhra pappu chaaru for some reason.. ). Was my first time eating the Laphing and it was excellent..crunchy inside soft outside, and the chili oil / vinegar base was too good. Warm ambience, warm people, highly recommend!!

Really enjoyed my visit here. The dumplings are great and the sauces are very flavourful. Just wish they had some more variety! Other than that, it was satisfying.

Went on a Wednesday evening and there was no wait. The food was prepared fresh and everything was quite flavorful. This was our first time trying Nepalese/Tibetan food. Everything was slightly salty for my personal palette. We ordered the following: Tibetan laphing: pretty unique dish with strong flavors. Was a bit greasy for me and a little too salty but I enjoyed the acidity and spice. Beef pan fried momo: very tasty and loved the sauce but several of the dumplings had holes Jhol momo: very flavorful with lots of sauce. The sauce tastes very strongly of fennel so if you like that it’s for you. Overall pretty fun experience. It was on the pricier side for the food received but would consider coming back

First time here. Only reason we came was because the momo spot we like on the Danforth closed. I heard about this place before so we gave it a shot. I was so surprised at how busy it was all night, steady stream of people never ended. We had to wait 30 min for a table. I was hoping that would mean the food was amazin, but I was disappointed. Like some others have mentioned, the salt content is obnoxious. Seems it's the main flavour ingredient. The butter chicken sauce did not taste or look like butter chicken sauce to me. We had veg chow main which is supposed to have brocoli, we counted and there was 1 full piece of brocoli (so was just a pile of salty noodles). We also had jhol cabbage momos, which were very salty. I also would prefer they didn't add food colouring in to make the dumpling bright green (my apologies if the colour is actually natural, but I am doubting that). And we had the butter chicken momos. The one thing about the food I really appreciated was that there wasn't a pile of onions inside the momos as a cheap filler like one local spot does. And I liked the customer service. The waitresses were great. They were accommodating, friendly, patient, and helpful. FYI you should be aware of the noise level, the venue is tiny and very busy so it is extremely loud. The price is also higher than other momo spots.

My fiancé & myself tried this Tibetan restaurant Momo Ghar for the very first time on October 20,2024. The dishes we tried were incredible and had so much flavour & it tasted very fresh, I cannot rave enough about it & will be going back in the near future & I love all the Tibetan decor in this very charming small restaurant. I give this restaurant five stars ⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️ & if I could give it a 10 I would. Highly recommended Momo Ghar for all the food lovers in the city!!!

So Here's my experience: We entered the restaurant and asked for a table of 2. One male server was about to guide us on a place but another female server comes and says I will guide them sth like that but in Nepali looked pretty annoyed tbh we already felt that at that moment🤡She made us wait for atleast 2-3minutes just in door even there were 3-4 tables empty. Then after waiting she asked our names then since we hadnt reserved we got the small table of 2 finally! I dont care about that but thats just my story of visit. About Food: Chicken Momo steam: 7.5/10 Spicy achar and non spicy wasnt separated but mixed in a plate. Thats not good. Everyone does not like eaging spicy and the dough is thick tho the fillings were good and juicy. Chicken Deep Fried Momo: 7/10 You call it a deep fried and its not even crispy, it looks like crispy but sadly not. Same Complaint Achar should be separated! Dough feels thick. Laphing??? 2/10 Looks so pretty Unnecessary Stuffings that makes it taste worse Just add raw noodles and Steamed dough that comes from preparing laphing! Jhol was oil and soya sauce only Atleast ask spicy level!? Looks pretty tho. Ambience and environment: There was this Giant AC but it felt like we were inside sauna. Overcrowded and so noisy in such a tiny space of 27 chairs. I give it 3 stars overall. The guy server had amazing hospitality tho!

We heard about this place through Instagram and went all the way from Oshawa for some Tibetan food . This place did not disappoint. We ordered Tandoori Momo ( 10/10 ) , Jhol Momo ( 9/10 ) , Laphing ( 10/10 ) and Veg Chow Mein ( 10/10 with their in-house special Hot Sauce ) . If they were selling this hot sauce I would buy a bottle for sure. I was definitely a fan . The only thing that was a bit on the downside was that the place felt hot, not sure if the AC was broken but the fans were not a solution to all the tables. In the end though once the door was opened, the fresh breeze from outside helped a lot. I will definitely be going back for sone more of their special momos ( kurkure , butter chicken)
